Abstract

D'après ce procédé, un abonné demande à un service de vidéographie circulaire, par le biais d'un réseau téléphonique, la vidéographie interactive dont il a besoin. Le service de vidéographie circulaire attribue une adresse individuelle à la page contenant la vidéographie interactive, puis la transmet par le réseau téléphonique à l'abonné qui la charge dans le contrôleur de vidéographie circulaire du récepteur et qui en informe le service de vidéographie circulaire par le réseau téléphonique. Le service de vidéographie circulaire transmet ensuite la page comprenant la vidéographie interactive. Le service transmet simultanément à l'abonné, par le réseau téléphonique, une instruction qui interdit au contrôleur de vidéographie circulaire du récepteur de comparer l'adresse courante de la page transmise par ledit service à l'adresse de la page inscrite dans le contrôleur de vidéographie circulaire du récepteur servant à recevoir la vidéographie interactive destinée à l'abonné ou, encore, l'adresse d'une page qui n'est pas utilisée lors de la transmission de la vidéographie circulaire et interactive. L'abonné la charge dans le contrôleur de vidéographie circulaire du récepteur, en informe le service de vidéographie circulaire par le réseau téléphonique et, en répétant un algorithme donné, trouve et reçoit la vidéographie interactive dont il a besoin.
