Abstract

L'invention se rapporte à une cartouche destinée à être utilisée pour effectuer une osmose inverse ou une filtration. Ladite cartouche comprend une pluralité d'ensembles (12) comportant chacun deux feuilles (14, 16) de matériau pour osmose inverse ou filtration, séparées par un écarteur (18). Ces ensembles sont enroulés autour d'un tuyau pour perméat (10). En cours d'utilisation de la cartouche, aucun écarteur n'est présent dans les passages de rétention du sel qui sont définis entre les ensembles, mais des écarteurs (18) sont présents dans les passages pour perméat desdits ensembles. Dans la réalisation préférée de l'invention, la cartouche est enroulée avec des écarteurs (25) disposés dans les passages de rétention, ces derniers étant ultérieurement retirés ou dissous. La membrane fait partie d'un équipement qui comporte un organe conçu pour communiquer à l'eau d'alimentation un mouvement tourbillonnaire qui se superpose aux flux axial en direction de l'extrémité d'admission de la cartouche.
