Abstract

La présente invention concerne un procédé pour traiter une solution comprenant des ions d'au moins un métal sélectionné parmi le fer et l'aluminium, des ions de phosphore, et au moins un métal lourd sélectionné parmi le plomb, le cadmium, le chrome, le cuivre, le mercure, les ions de zinc et de nickel, à des fins de récupération des ions du(des) métal(métaux), du phosphore et du(des) métal(métaux) lourd(s). Le procédé comprend les quatre étapes suivantes exécutées dans un ordre arbitraire (mais de préférence séquentiel): mettre cette solution en contact avec une première matière échangeuse de cations; si la solution contient des ions HSO4-, mettre la solution en contact avec une première matière échangeuse d'anions; mettre ladite solution en contact avec une deuxième matière échangeuse d'anions; et mettre ladite solution en contact avec une première matière échangeuse de cations. Le procédé peut s'utiliser dans des usines à grande échelle de retraitement des déchets brûlés. En variante, on remplace les stades de mise en contact avec des anions par l'utilisation d'une matière de nanofiltration.
