Friteuse électrique comportant un boîtier (1) formant un logement (2), une cuve (6) montée amovible dans ledit logement, prévue pour recevoir un bain de cuisson, des moyens électriques de chauffe (4), des moyens de régulation (10), des seconds moyens de régulation (16) présentant une inertie thermique moindre que les premiers moyens de régulation (10), caractérisée en ce que les moyens de régulation (10) comprennent un élément bimétallique et sont en contact thermique avec une partie chaude de la cuve (6) lorsque ladite cuve est disposée dans le logement (2), les seconds moyens de régulation (16) comprennent un élément bimétallique et sont en contact thermique avec une zone moins chaude de la cuve (6) lorsque ladite cuve est disposée dans le logement (2), des moyens de commande étant prévus soit pour activer de manière alternative les moyens de régulation (10) ou des seconds moyens de régulation (16), soit pour activer ou non les moyens de régulation (10), soit pour activer ou non les seconds moyens de régulation (16).1.
