Abstract

Um ein Multifunktions-Kommunikationsendgerät (1) und ein dazugehöriges Meldesystem zu schaffen, bei dem durch die Überwachung von Temperatur, Helligkeit, Schall, Druck usw. realisierte Überwachungsfunktionen auf besonders einfache und kostengünstige Art und Weise ermöglicht werden, wird das Endgerät durch die Verwendung einer Umschaltvorrichtung (2) oder ohne diese Umschaltvorrichtung (2) einerseits in einem Normal-Modus (II) und andererseits in einem Melde-Modus (I) betrieben. Wird das Endgerät in den Melde-Modus gebracht, so findet ein automatischer Verbindungsaufbau zu einem vorbestimmten weiteren Kommunikationsendgerät statt, wenn an einer Anschlußeinheit (3), die Akku-Anschlußkontakte (8) zum Laden einer Energieversorgung (7) des Endgeräts aufweist, ein externes Meldesignal (EX) anliegt und eine Erfassungseinrichtung (9) zum Erfassen der an den Kontakten anliegenden Spannung/Strom in Verbindung mit einer Steuerungseinrichtung (4, 10) im Melde-Modus das externe Meldesignal auswertet. Wird das Multifunktions-Kommunikationsendgerät in den Normal-Modus gebracht, so wird durch die Erfassungseinrichtung und die Steuerungseinrichtung ein Ladevorgang der Energieversorgung gesteuert.
