Abstract

Cette invention se rapporte au domaine de la médecine, et concerne une prophylaxie ainsi qu'un traitement de la dépendance à la nicotine, à l'alcool et aux narcotiques en général. Cet article se présente sous forme d'une cigarette dont la garniture (tabac inférieur sans ou à faible teneur en nicotine) est imprégnée et saupoudrée de nitrate d'ammonium. Lors de la combustion du tabac, dans la zone où la température atteint 200 à 270 °C, cette substance se décompose et génère de l'oxyde d'azote ayant une action euphorisante. En passant avec la fumée dans les poumons puis dans le sang du fumeur, l'oxyde entraîne une satisfaction et une euphorie qui sont de loin préférables à celles de la nicotine et de l'alcool, ceci notamment du fait de l'absence de toxicité et de risque d'accoutumance. Le recours à ce système permet de réduire sensiblement la consommation courante d'articles de tabagie ou alcoolisés par des personnes malades ou en bonne santé.
