Abstract

Cette invention a pour but d'améliorer la qualité d'images, d'accroître l'efficacité de correction et de restauration de la vue, et d'éliminer toute gêne chez le patient lors de l'utilisation de lunettes à diffraction. Afin d'éliminer toute gêne, ces lunettes à diffraction, qui comportent une monture ainsi que des écrans perforés, possèdent une surface externe de type miroir. Les perforations sont ainsi moins perceptibles pour l'entourage. Afin d'accroître l'efficacité de traitement, les perforations des lunettes à diffraction se présentent sous forme de figures géométriques quelconques orientées de manière arbitraire, une dimension de ces figures (la largeur) devant se trouver dans une plage de 0,2 à 1,3 mm. Ces figures peuvent se présenter sous forme de fentes étroites qui peuvent se croiser. La restauration et la correction de la vue se font lorsque l'on met les lunettes à diffraction. Des séances de traitement de la myopie et de l'hypermétropie se font distinctement pour chaque oeil en fermant l'autre. Le traitement de la diplopie consiste pour le patient à observer des deux yeux des objets environnants en se promenant le long d'un chemin tout en longueur, le patient ne devant pas forcer les muscles oculaires immédiatement après le retrait des lunettes.
