Technical Field
Present invention relates to a sparkplug, especially a sparkplug having its components can be disassembled and reassembled (knocked-down sparkplug) .
Background Art
Sparkplug is one of components in a combustion machine having function to ignite a combustion in combustion chamber of a combustion machine as in a motorcar, motorcycle, or the like other machines.
Recently, it has been known that sparkplug available in the market is a sparkplug having its whole components, i.e. electrodes, ceramic and sparkplug body, be firmly united (in form of one-package sparkplug) . When a sparkplug has been inactive or the sparkplug can not make an ignition, then consumers have to replace totally the one-package sparkplug, whereas the components of conventional sparkplug, especially its electrodes rarely to be damaged.
In case of a sparkplug having function to ignite combustion for a motorcar, motor vehicle or the like, functionality of the sparkplug depends on the occurrence of disturbance of electric current in positive pole caused by dirties for example.
Sparkplug of a motorcar, motor vehicle or the like frequently have disturbance, i.e. caused by carbon sludge of fuel, wherein the sparkplug is considered not in functioning normally when the sparkplug can not transmit electric current normally. This disturbance may be taken place because of dirtying, wetting, and others. In a conventional sparkplug, it is difficult to clean the disturbed component from dirtying or wetting because the sparkplug
is one-package sparkplug, wherein the component parts can not be taken apart.
The problem mentioned above can be overcome by present invention, wherein the component parts constituting the sparkpluq, i.e. sparkplug body including its electrodes and ceramic insulator including its inner can be taken apart.
In order to make the conventional sparkplug clean from dirtying caused by carbon sludge of fuel, oils or other dirtying, conventionally it can be done by scrubbing the sparkplug parts, generally on the core electrode by the use of sandpaper or other. The way to make sparkplug clean like this is more or less useless technically, because sparkplug to be inactive or not in function normally depends on the electric current in positive pole from the terminal end to a core electrode whether in a disturbed condition or not. And the core electrode end usually have the shape of sharp or spherical with a curve of right angle 90° or acute angle 30°, so that at the angle, the positive electrode allows in making sparks toward the mass electrode also with a curve of right angle 90°. Even sparkplug in the trademark of Nippondenso® have a mass electrode in U shape.
So, when a conventional sparkplug is in disturbed condition or the sparkplug is not more in function for igniting a combustion, then consumer must replace the sparkplug at all, and this will make the consumer have to pay much money because it is very expensive.
Here, it is disclosed that the present invention relates to a sparkplug havinq its components can be disassembled or reassembled (knocked-down sparkplug) , wherein the main components that can be disassembled comprising: a. sparkplug body including its electrodes; b. fastening nut; and c. ceramic insulator including its inner.
So, the damaged or not in function component can be replaced without replacing the sparkplug at all in order to reduce the cos .
The term of "knocked-down sparkplug" used in this specification means that a sparkplug having its constituting components can be disassembled and reassembled.
Therefore, the object of this invention is to overcome the disadvantages of the conventional sparkplug mentioned above.

Brief Description of Invention
The present invention relates to a novel knocked-down sparkplug which can be used to overcome the disadvantages of conventional sparkplug as mentioned above. Knocked-down sparkplug of our present invention differs with prior sparkplug, wherein the principal distinctions are on the construction, maintenance and economical efficiency.
The invention relates to a sparkplug wherein the constituting component parts can be disassembled and reassembled (knocked-down sparkplug), and the sparkplug of the invention comprises: a. sparkplug body including its electrodes (1);
b. fastening nut (2) ; c. ceramic insulator including its inner (3) ; and d. ceramic ring (4) .
The sparkplug body including its electrodes (1) are united with ceramic insulator including its inner (3) by using- of fastening nut (2) . And in order not to make short circuit between sparkplug body including its electrodes (1) and ceramic insulator including its inner (3), it is provided an insulator ceramic ring therebetween.
An advantage of the sparkplug according to the present invention is in the construction, maintenance and economical value where this knocked-down sparkplug may reduce maintenance cost, because only the damaged parts that may be replaced by consumer, without replacing the sparkplug at all.
Detailed Description
Generally, the invention is represented in the perspective drawing of Figure 1. It must be understood that sparkplug have been well known for a long time by those skilled in the art, so that it is not necessarily described in this specification.
Figure 1 represents the component parts constituting the knocked-down sparkplug according to an embodiment of the present invention. The constituting component of the knocked-down sparkplug which can be disassembled and reassembled comprises a sparkplug body including its electrodes (1), fastening nut (2), ceramic insulator including its inner (3) and ceramic ring (4) .
Figure 2 represents the component parts of the knocked-down sparkplug which can be disassembled and reassembled comprising a sparkplug body including its electrodes (1) and fastening nut (2) .
Figure 3 represents the component parts of the knocked-down sparkplug comprising ceramic insulator including its inner (3) .
Figure 4 represents the component parts of the knocked-down sparkplug comprising ceramic ring (4) .
We have invented a knocked-down sparkplug characterized in that its constituting component parts which can be disassembled and reassembled comprising a sparkplug body including its electrodes (1), fastening nut (2), ceramic insulator including its inner (3), and ceramic ring (4) .
The fastening nut (2) of the knocked-down sparkplug is one of component which can be disassembled and reassembled have a function in uniting a sparkplug body including its electrodes (1) and a ceramic insulator including its inner (3) . And ceramic ring (4) have a function in preventing short circuit therebetween. The ceramic ring is provided between the sparkplug body including its electrodes (1) and ceramic insulator including its inner (3).
Referring to Figure 1 and 2, it is provided a fastening nut (2) with a rotating thread of screw at the - top of sparkplug body (1) . This will make the sparkplug body including its electrodes (1) and the ceramic insulator including its inner are in firmly united, so that it can be tightened or loosen.
An objective of the invention is to provide a sparkplug having its constituting component parts can be disassembled and reassembled, so that it will make easier for consumer in cleaning, maintenance of the frequently dirtied electrode components as well as reducing maintenance cost. Because it needs only the damaged component parts must be replaced without replacing sparkplug at all. This can not be done for a conventional sparkplug. The advantage of the present invention that consumer may replace the only damaged component parts, without replacing sparkplug at all, therefor reducing maintenance cost.
The component parts of sparkplug used to be damaged usually are the electrode and also the ceramic insulator including its inner wherein they have no function to make sparks in igniting combustion. By using the knocked-down sparkplug of the present invention, consumer may replace the only damaged component parts without replacing the sparkplug at all.
The knocked-down sparkplugs of present invention differ with conventional sparkplugs in that:
♦ The knocked-down sparkplug comprises a sparkplug body including the electrodes (1), fastening nut (2), ceramic ring (4), while the conventional sparkplug have no fastening nut to make a sparkplug body and ceramic insulator to be firmly united; ♦ In this knocked-down sparkplug, the ceramic insulator may be replaced, while the conventional sparkplug may not;
♦ The knocked-down sparkplug have sparkplug length about 4 mm to 10 mm longer than conventional sparkplug have, caused by fastening nut height of the knocked-down sparkplug; ♦ It is easier to clean the knocked-down sparkplug than conventional sparkplug, because the component parts can be taken apart;
♦ It is easier in the maintenance of the knocked-down sparkplug, because the only damaged component parts may be replaced without replacing the sparkplug at all, while contrary for conventional sparkplug because it is unity in shape and can not be taken apart each other;
♦ The knocked-down sparkplug have a heat conduction factor higher and uniformly heat distribution because of fastening nut; and ♦ The knocked-down sparkplug is provided with ceramic ring to prevent in occurring possibly short circuit.
The knocked-down sparkplug of present invention have a conventional standard dimension, so that any type of conventional standard toolkit is still suitable in use for resetting and repairing, so that the objective of present invention can be achieved.
