Abstract

The invention relates to a device and method for soil reinforcement, foundation and/or soil anchorage of structuring in unconsolidated soil. A load bearing medium is under high pressure feeded to a predetermined depth into the soil, assisted by two pipes. The inner pipe (28) is provided with a rotary screw (36) for continuous feeding of medium. The medium brings by force transverse from the pipes by pressing the soil aside and creates a body of the load bearing medium.

Description

METHOD OF APPROACH FOR SOIL REINFORCEMENT, FOUNDATION OR SOIL ANCHORAGE AND ADVISE TO REALISE THE METHOD.
The existing invention has a procedure for soil reinforcement work, foundation - laying and/or soil anchorage of structuring by having a load bearing medium moved to an arbitrary depth in the soil. The invention has also a device to realise the procedure.
It is previously known how to produce soil anchorage for example by using concrete assisted by a pipe, moved into the soil, where under the pipe's opening a space in is formed in which concrete is set under pressure at the space by means of a raise and sinkable body. This known procedure has in the first place the shape of anchorage for piles and similar.
The main reason for the existing invention is to create a method in order to simplify the procedure for soil reinforcement work or anchorage of structuring by means of concrete, gravel, stone material or similar in a simple, fast and cheap way, even if the procedure can be used for other purposes, like piling. This and other purposes with the invention can be reached by the given characteristics received in the following patent demands.
The invention will be described closer as follows, in connection with the drawing which shows a procedure example on a device for realising the method.
Figure 1 shows partly in a cut a side view of the device. Figure 2 shows a cut after the line A-A in figure 1 Figure 3 shows a cut after the line B-B in figure 1
Figures 4 -9 show schematic use of the device according to figures 1 - 3 in order to create soil reinforcement.
The device showed in figures 1 - 3 includes a stand (10) by girders (12), for example of U-type, which on the top by means of transverse girders (14) are connected with a supplying funnel (16) and on the bottom of two hydraulic cylinder houses (18) by means of girders (20). To the cylinder houses (18) an outer pipe is attached (22) with help of plates (24) and bolt bandage (26). At the outer pipe (22) an inner pipe is arranged (28) which runs with slide fitting at the outer pipe (22).
The inner pipe (28) has on the top fixed plates (30), which are welded to the pipe (28). At the fixed plates (30) the articulated stored ends of the piston rods (32) to the two cylinders (18), make it possible for the inner pipe to be descended and raised in the outer pipe (22). The inner pipe (28) has on the top a flange giving it a hold for the flange of a hydraulic motor (34) meant to drive one in the inner pipe (28) rotate-able fixed screw (36) with its shaft beaten to the outgoing shaft of the motor (34). To the top of the inner pipe (28) the funnel (16) is connected to its inside to get the screw (36) bring the medium, which is to be descended into the soil by means of the screw. The screw thread (36) might have different pitch by different parts of the inner pipe, for example it might have a larger pitch at the lower part of the pipe than at the upper part. By the outer pipe (22), two automatic controls (38) are arranged in which run two bars (40, 42) carrying a plate (44), for example with circular shape and make back-pressure organ for the medium which is to be pressed into the soil under screw pressure in order to force the medium aside in the soil. The whole arrangement with outer pipe, inner pipe, hydraulic arrangement and container can run after guides, creating a stand to which a lifting device from the outside like an excavator can be connected. The equipment can be locked to the stand by pressuring the pipes into the soil.
The above described arrangement will function as follows: As shown in figure 4, the outer pipe (22) will be pressed down as described by arrow P in the surrounding soil from ground-level M, will then press the inner pipe (28) with the screw (36) by the cylinders piston rods (32) down into the surrounding soil, where the inner pipe (28) with its bottom part brings the backpressure plate to its final position. After reaching its final position the screw (36) starts its turning through the motor (34), when the medium from the funnel (16), like concrete, gravel or stone material will be pressed down into soil. When the material hits the plate (44) under pressure, the inner pipe and the screw are forced up, as shown in figure 5.
When the medium stays in the soil, the feeding rotating screw and the inner pipe continue up until they again will be pressed down by the hydraulic cylinders as shown in figure 6, and the added medium presses away the previous medium left in the soil, as shown in figure 7, where a clod of the medium is formed and at the same time screw and inner pipe will ascend due to the back-pressure. Screw and inner pipe will be repressed into the soil, as shown in figure 8 and the procedure continues until requested amount of medium like concrete, gravel, stone material or similar has been reached. As shown in figure 9, the device will be lifted to the ground - level by leaving the plate (44) with sticks (40, 42) and possibly the inner pipe (28) which may later support a pole or similar.
From this it may be concluded that the invention has made a simple and fast procedure in order to introduce a wanted medium in the soil reinforcement work, foundation - laying or soil anchorage by structuring. Of course may procedure and device changes be done accordingly within the invention limits.

Claims
1. Method for soil reinforcement work, foundation - laying and/or soil anchorage of structuring by having a load bearing medium moved to an predetermined depth in the soil, characterised that the load bearing medium is pressed into soil assisted by two, one in one another arranged outer pipe (22) and inner pipe (28), of which the inner pipe is provided with a rotary screw (36) for continuous feeding of medium to a back - pressure plate (44), which brings the medium transverse from the screw by pressing the soil aside and creating a body or a unit of the load bearing medium in the soil.
2. Method as defined in claim 1 , characterised that the pipes (22, 28) by force pressed into soil and that inner pipe (28) with the screw (36) are pressed a little bit further into soil, getting the inner pipe (28) with the rotary screw (36) to fill up the cavity arising with medium under return motion.
3. Method as defined in claim 1 or 2, characterised that the back -pressure plate (44) by means of bars (40) connected to the outer pipe or arrangements for pressuring the pipes down and taking reaction forces from these arrangements.
4. Method as defined in claim 1, 2 or 3, characterised that media like concrete, gravel or other stone material feeds to inner pipe (28) with the screw organ connected container (16) containing another feed screw.
5. Method as defined in claim 1, 2, 3 or 4, characterised that the inner pipe (28) with the screw will be pressed down to repress earlier left medium as many times as needed to get requested load bearing body in the soil.
6. Method as defined in claim 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5, characterised that the inner pipe (28) by gradual redrawing of pipes, doing an up- and down motion to receive requested size and shape on the load bearing body or unit on different depths.

Device to realise the method as defined in claim 1,2,3,4,5 or 6, by having a load bearing medium feed into the soil under pressure, getting the medium press aside the surrounding soil, characterised that into an outer pipe (22) is attached a sliding inner pipe (28), which is telescoping in the outer pipe, and having a rotating screw (36) arranged to press down the medium into soil, towards one of the outer pipes or a pressure device connected back-pressure plate.
8. Device according to claim 7, characterised that a pressure device is formed by hydraulic cylinders (18), connected to the inner pipe (28) to create an up and down motion of the inner pipe (28) and the screw (36).
9. Device according to claim 7 or 8, characterised that the equipment including the outer pipe (22), the inner pipe (28) and the pressure device (18) has guides, creating a stand to which an outer lift device, like an excavator can be connected.
10. Device according to claim 7, 8 or 9, characterised that the equipment is locked to the stand when pressuring the pipes into soil.
