Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé et un système servant à fournir des utilitaires, des produits et des services de communication, d'applications et de divertissement éducatif à une base d'utilisateur, tel qu'un domicile ou un lieu professionnel, qui comporte l'étape consistant à prévoir une interface (1) de communications numérique modulaire à une base d'utilisateur qui s'intègre à des unités (2-8) d'application modulaires, et qui peut être connectée à un réseau (11, 12) de données électronique. L'unité modulaire comporte au moins un module (9) de communications pouvant comprendre un dispositif de modem tel que des modems (10) ADSL. On peut connecter à cette interface de communication au moins un module d'application ou de service/produit. L'interface ou module de communications communique avec au moins un prestataire de services sur le réseau électronique en vue de vendre ou de distribuer des produits/services et d'autres applications à ladite base d'utilisateur. L'invention permet d'assurer une capacité de mise à jour et une flexibilité maximales.
