Abstract

L'invention concerne un système qui est doté d'un service auquel on peut s'abonner et qui est destiné à traiter des informations vidéo. Ce système comprend un terminal local pouvant être connecté à une caméra vidéo quelconque, un équipement de présentation destiné auxdites informations vidéo, de préférence un téléviseur ou un ordinateur relié audit terminal local et un serveur de disposition centrale qui coopère avec le terminal local et qui, de préférence, est situé au bureau de télécommunications. Ce terminal local est conçu pour charger ces informations vidéo de cette caméra vidéo quelconque vers le serveur de disposition centrale aux fins d'enregistrement de ces informations vidéo. Ces informations vidéo sont enregistrées sur une voie adressable et codée à l'avance par l'abonné à ce service de telle façon que cet abonné puisse de façon simple procéder à la conversion entre plusieurs formats, à l'édition, à la réalisation d'index, à la présentation et à la commercialisation desdites informations vidéo à partir de son propre terminal local ou du terminal local d'un abonné quelconque.
