Abstract

The invention relates to a modular presentation system comprising vertical supports (2) between which transverse walls (6) can be arranged. The inventive system also comprises supporting elements (14) which can be mounted on the vertical supports (2), which horizontally extend away from said vertical supports, and which vertically extend in relation to the transverse walls (6). Said supporting elements can serve to hold the shelves (16, 17, 18). Each module of the presentation system has a pedestal unit which comprises at least one base plate (1) and which is supported on the floor by suitable supporting means (22). Each module also comprises at least two vertical supports (2) which are fastened to and extend upward from said pedestal unit. The transverse walls (6) can be advantageously fastened to the vertical supports (2) which are preferably made of metallic hollow sections having an essentially rectangular cross section.

Description

Presentation system in modular design

The present invention relates to a presentation system in modular construction, in particular a presentation system comprising vertical connections, between which transverse walls can be arranged, and support elements which can be attached to the vertical connections and extend horizontally away from them and perpendicular to the transverse walls and which can be used to hold the shelf.

A presentation system of the aforementioned type is known, for example, from the European patent EP 0259 787 B1. The presentation system described then can be built up in a modular manner, but does not allow the independent installation of individual smaller presentation units, which for example include some shelves for the presentation of goods, because the individual units as such cannot be set up separately.

The problem on which the present invention is based is the creation of a presentation system in modular construction of the type mentioned at the outset, which is of simple and very variable construction, with smaller units also being able to be constructed separately.

This is achieved according to the invention in that each module of the presentation system has a base unit, preferably comprising at least one base plate, which is supported on the floor by means of suitable supporting means, and at least two vertical connecting pieces fastened to the base unit and extending upward therefrom. With the base unit, which is supported by the support elements on the floor, each small unit with a base unit can be set up separately. Any goods presentation means can be attached to the vertical supports extending upward from the base unit.

According to a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the transverse walls can be fastened to the vertical struts, the transverse walls preferably having recesses into which fastening pins attached to the vertical struts can engage. Advantageously, additional transverse walls made of perforated sheet materials enable the hooking of blister hooks into the holes of the perforated sheet materials, so that goods for presentation can be attached to the blister hooks.

Advantageously, the vertical supports, which are preferably embodied as metallic hollow profiles with an approximately rectangular cross section, have through bores through which the support elements can extend. The through bores are preferably arranged equidistantly in the vertical direction. This can on the one hand ensure that support elements extending through the vertical supports are used on both sides of the presentation system as supports for shelves or the like. On the other hand, there is also the possibility of attaching a rear wall to the vertical supports by means of suitable fastening means, both the rear wall and the support elements being able to have fastening means which enable the support elements to be fastened to the rear wall while the support elements extend through the bores of the vertical supports extend. To attach support elements at an appropriate height, they must therefore be pushed through the holes in the vertical supports and fastened to the rear wall by means of the fastening means. In this case, the support elements can only support shelves or the like on one side of the presentation system.

According to preferred embodiments, the fastening means on the rear wall and support element are designed as a threaded hole on the rear wall and an external thread corresponding to these at one end of the support elements. Alternatively, the fastening means can be designed as bayonet-type locking elements. There is also the possibility that the fastening means comprise a spring-loaded locking wedge with a corresponding counterpart. The alternative embodiments of the fastening means each ensure quick and easy attachment and fastening of the support elements in the rear wall.

The support elements are preferably designed as support rods with an essentially circular cross section. According to one embodiment, shelves designed as acrylic glass plates can be placed on the support elements, for example. According to an alternative embodiment, the shelves, for example in the form of wooden panels or perforated metal panels, have bores through which the support elements can extend. In both cases - 3 - the support elements at their end facing away from the vertical supports have an axially aligned threaded hole into which a fastening screw can be screwed, which serves to fix the shelves between the vertical supports and the fastening screws.

According to a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the presentation system can further comprise crossbars which can extend essentially between two support elements attached to two spaced-apart vertical supports. The crossbars can be attached to the support elements at the ends, for example by means of the fastening screws. On _. The goods to be presented can be hung on the crossbars. The support elements are therefore often suitable for the presentation of goods. It is also possible, for example, to provide the support elements designed as support rods with a hook on which goods can be hung directly. It is also possible to present steering wheels at the ends of the support elements.

According to a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the support elements which support the base unit on the floor are designed as rollers or as preferably height-adjustable feet, wherein the rollers or feet can be surrounded by a covering.

It is also possible to partially surround the vertical supports with cladding parts. These claddings can also include the sides with the through bores, so that bores must also be drilled in the cladding parts in order to enable the support elements to be pushed through.

On the sides of the vertical supports of adjacent modules that have no through bores, strips can be attached, by means of which these vertical supports can be connected to one another. Another possibility of connecting adjacent modules is to connect the base units or the base plates of the modules arranged next to one another using suitable fastening means.

According to the invention, there is the possibility of arranging drawers above or below the base plates. The at least one drawer arranged above the base plate can be delimited at the top by a plate which, for example, can be made transparent for the presentation of goods or else as - 4 -

Presentation panel for radios or the like can be executed. Furthermore, it is possible to provide individual modules of the presentation system with an upper end plate, the height of these modules being able to be chosen so that the end plate has the height of a sales counter.

Preferably, at least one illuminant can be provided behind the transverse walls, for example between two transverse walls or between a transverse wall and a rear wall, in order to backlight the transverse wall accordingly. This can be provided both in the case of perforated metal rear walls and those made of acrylic glass or wood.

As can be seen from FIG. 1 and FIG. 2, a presentation system according to the invention can comprise a base plate 1 consisting of several partial segments and vertical supports 2 which extend upwards and are fastened thereon, for example by screw connections. The partial segments of the base plate 1 can be connected to one another, for example, by clip-shaped fastening elements 3. In the illustrated embodiment, the vertical supports 2 are designed as hollow metal profiles with a rectangular cross section. The vertical supports 2 have through bores 4 arranged equidistantly in the vertical direction on the narrow sides of the rectangle. 8, the screw connection 5 between a vertical support 2 and a base plate 1 is shown schematically for a further exemplary embodiment. The exemplary embodiment of a presentation system according to the invention shown in FIGS. 1 to 3 further comprises transverse walls 6 which can be attached laterally to the vertical supports 2. The attachment can be realized, for example, by means of attachment pins 7 attached to the vertical supports 2 and corresponding recesses 8 arranged on the end faces of the transverse walls 6. The fastening pins 7, which extend perpendicularly away from the longitudinal sides of the vertical struts 2, can be seen by way of example in FIGS. 3a and 3b. The exemplary embodiment in FIG. 8 has slot-shaped recesses 8, which extend at an angle of approximately 45 ° from bottom to top and into which the fastening pins 7 can be inserted. In this way, in order to attach a transverse wall 6, it must only be pushed from above and from the front onto the fastening pins 7 with their slot-shaped recesses 8 attached to the vertical supports 2 located on the left and right of it.

The transverse walls 6 can consist, for example, of acrylic glass, wooden panels, perforated sheet materials, mirrors or loudspeaker presentations. In particular, transverse walls 6 made of perforated sheet materials offer the possibility that a wide variety of goods to be presented can be presented with the aid of blister hooks, which can be hung at will in the holes in the perforated sheet materials. - 6 -

As can be seen from FIGS. 1 to 3, the vertical supports 2 can be covered on the outside with cladding parts 9, which consist, for example, of wooden, vertically extending strips. As can be seen from FIG. 3b, strips 10 which extend vertically in this way can also be arranged between the vertical supports 2 of two adjoining system segments, with two cladding parts 9 covering this area to the outside.

The front section of a presentation system according to the invention shown in FIGS. 2 and 3a comprises, in addition to a base plate 1 and two vertically upwardly extending vertical supports 2, an integral rear wall 11 as an essential part. This rear wall 11 is fastened to the vertical supports 2, for example, by suitable angles 12 . The rear wall 11 has, corresponding to the bores 4 in the vertical supports 2, threaded bores 13 arranged equidistantly in the vertical direction. In Fig. 3a support rods 14 are also shown, which have a circular cross-section with an outer diameter that is smaller than the inner diameter of the bores 4 in the vertical supports 2. At the rear end of each of the support rods 14, a thread 15 is arranged, which in the threaded holes 13 can be screwed into the rear wall 11. Instead of threaded bore 13 and thread 15, quick fasteners such as bayonet fasteners or spring-loaded locking wedges with corresponding counterparts can also be used. This connection mechanism allows the corresponding support rods to be attached quickly at different heights in the vertical supports 2, corresponding to the spacing of the bores 4 from one another.

From Fig. 8 it can be seen that shelves 16 can be placed on the support rods 14, for example. The stackable shelves 16 can be made of acrylic glass. An alternative embodiment of a shelf 17 according to the invention, which is made of wood, for example, provides through holes through which the support rods 14 can protrude. In the exemplary embodiments depicted in FIGS. 6 to 8, the support rods 14 have, at their end remote from the vertical support 2, an axially extending threaded bore 19 into which a corresponding fastening screw 20 can be screwed. The screw 20 can serve to fix the shelf 17, which is made of wood, for example. An alternative embodiment of a shelf 18 according to the invention is made of perforated sheet metal and also has bores for the support rods 14 to pass through. These shelves 18 are also fixed to the presentation system by the screw 20. - 7 -

As can be seen from FIG. 6, there is also the possibility of connecting two support rods 14, which protrude from two different vertical supports 2 at the same height, by means of a corresponding cross rod 21. The crossbar 21 can also be fixed to each of the support rods 14 by tightening the screw 20. The crossbar 21 can be used, for example, to hang objects to be presented on it.

From Fig. 8 it can be seen that rollers 22 can be attached below the base plate 1. Alternatively or in addition, height-adjustable foot elements can also be attached to the underside of the base plate 1. There is also the possibility of attaching apron-like linings 23 to the underside of the base plate 1 so that they protect the rollers 22 and corresponding foot elements from the outside.

Another embodiment of the invention provides that drawers are arranged below the base plate and / or above the base plate. For example, a whole number of drawers arranged one above the other can be limited at the top with a desk placed on top, in which, for example, radios embedded in the desk are presented. It is also possible to limit an entire base of drawers through a glass showcase instead of a desk.

Instead of simple support rods 14, for example, steering wheels can also be provided on their rear with rods which can be pushed through the bores 4 in the vertical supports 2 and screwed into corresponding counterparts in the rear wall, latched in or fastened, for example, by means of a bayonet catch. In this way, steering wheels can be presented in the area of the vertical supports 2 at different heights.

The embodiment shown in FIGS. 1 and 3b comprises transverse walls 6 visible to the user on both sides, with no rear wall being present in this embodiment. In this way, the support rods 14 can be pushed through the vertical struts 2 so that they protrude from the vertical struts 2 on both sides. These embodiments of the support struts 14 therefore have, for example, axial threaded bores at both ends, so that at both ends - 8th -

Side fastening screws 20 can be screwed in to fix corresponding further elements such as shelves 16, 17, 18 or crossbars 21 to them.

A further embodiment of the presentation system according to the invention provides that between the transverse walls 6 and the rear walls 11 or in the embodiment shown in FIG. 3b, light sources are arranged between the transverse walls 6, which enable the transverse walls 6 to be backlit. This applies to transverse walls 6 made of perforated sheet metal as well as those made of acrylic glass or wood.

The presentation system according to the invention can be both relatively high, for example 2 m to 2.50 m high, and also relatively low, heights corresponding to sales counters being quite suitable. In such an embodiment, an upper counter surface can be arranged on the top of a presentation system according to the invention. Here it is possible not to fasten the individual segments of the presentation system, which for example each comprise two vertical supports 2 with transverse walls 6 arranged between them, to one another at an angle of 180 °, but at an angle deviating therefrom, so that there is a straight line deviating course of the counter top limiting the presentation system results. This can, for example, be slightly curved in the shape of an S.

The cladding parts 9 adjoining the vertical supports 2 on the outside and on the side can be selected to match the transverse walls 6. Accordingly, the material of the apron-like cladding 23 can be adapted to the material of the transverse walls 6 and the cladding parts 9. Perforated plate should be mentioned here as an example.
