Abstract
Cette invention concerne un procédé permettant d'évaluer la zone proche du fond d'un puits, lequel procédé consiste à émettre un champ acoustique et à corriger les paramètres du mode d'émission en fonction des résultats d'une liaison retour. Ce procédé se caractérise en ce que l'action acoustique se fait par étapes à l'aide d'un champ acoustique vertical ainsi que d'un champ acoustique horizontal et circulaire. Au cours de la première étape, on génère une onde stationnaire dans un espace fermé par un tube, tandis qu'au cours de la seconde étape, on génère une onde progressive dont la fréquence est proche de la fréquence de résonance de la structure de la couche contenant le fluide. La liaison retour est représentée par la dépendance fréquentielle de l'amplitude du signal acoustique qui se disperse dans la direction inverse. Le dispositif comprend un instrument de puits (10) qui se compose de deux sections (11, 12) reliées par un câble (13). La section supérieure (11) renferme un générateur tandis que la section inférieure (12), qui communique avec le milieu environnant, renferme un capteur de liaison retour (3) et au moins un émetteur acoustique (1, 14, 15). L'émetteur acoustique comprend au moins réflecteur d'onde acoustique (16), lequel réflecteur est disposé de manière coaxiale par rapport à l'émetteur et à une distance fixe a de l'extrémité de ce dernier. Le réflecteur possède une surface conique dont le sommet est dirigé vers l'émetteur et selon un angle de 90° au niveau dudit sommet. La distance a entre l'émetteur et le réflecteur est définie en fonction des conditions de génération de l'onde stationnaire dans l'espace du puits défini par les tubes, tandis que la partie inférieure de l'instrument de puits se termine par un concentrateur acoustique (18) ou par un échomètre.
