Abstract

On prépare des micro-organismes atténués par mutation d'un ou de plusieurs gènes choisis parmi sopA, sopD, sipA, ou d'un gène tiré de l'îlot de pathogénicité SPI-5 lorsque le micro-organisme est Salmonella, ou d'un ou de plusieurs gènes homologues correspondant auxdits gènes de Salmonella, lorsque le micro-organisme est une autre entérobactérie. Par rapport aux souches de type sauvage, les micro-organismes présentent une entéropathogénicité réduite, mais sensiblement le même caractère envahissant. Ces micro-organismes atténués peuvent être administrés sous forme de vaccins contre les infections aux entérobactéries. L'invention concerne également les polypeptides codés par les gènes sopA, pipD, orfX, pipC, pipB et pipA, leurs variants, ainsi que les acides nucléiques codant ces polypeptides.
