Abstract

The invention relates to a knife handle (2) comprised of two opposing, folding housing parts (4, 5), especially for a carpet knife, in which a replaceable blade (3) can be inserted when the blade receiver (7) is opened by unfolding. A blade storage chamber (8) which is also opened by unfolding is located toward the rear of said knife handle. In order to achieve a well-fitted configuration, the invention provides that the folding axis (x-x) lies between the blade receiver (7) and the blade storage chamber (8).
