Die Stangen sind zweckmäßig von außen an die Kofferschale angelenkt und beeinträchtigen dann die Brauchbarkeit des Koffers überhaupt nicht und sind auch optisch nicht auffallend (Figur 3, 4 und 9) . Werden sie im Kofferinneren mitgeführt, dann beanspruchen sie nicht allzuviel Platz . Lediglich das Liegepolster beansprucht einigen Raum, wenn es nicht nach Art einer Luftmatratze aufblasbar ist. Ist die zweiteilige Platte als Trennelement am Kofferrand angelenkt, dann fällt sie beim aufgeklappten Koffer von selbst in die Endstellung. Es muß dann nur noch das Liegepolster aufgelegt werden. Ist die Platte gepolstert, dann werden die Plattenhälften umgedreht und bilden so die Liegefläche. Die Umrandung, die dafür sorgt, daß das Kind nicht herausfallen kann, kann zweckmäßig so gebildet werden, daß die Stangen als Pfosten dienen, zwischen denen eine Bespannung die Barriere bildet, wobei die Bespannung auch ein Netz sein kann. Die Barriere kann so auch mit eigenen Pfosten (Figur 12) oder als aufblasbare Konstruktion (Figur 13) gebildet werden. Dann können die Stangen auch als Füße dienen. Bei der bevorzugten Ausführungsform sind die Füße aber verzichtbar: Der Koffer liegt aufgeklappt auf dem Boden und die Stangen sind in ihrer ganzen Länge die Pfosten für die Barriere.
