Abstract

Cette invention concerne un procédé et un appareil permettant de couper/guider une bande d'entrée (W') dans une machine à papier/carton. D'après ce procédé, l'appareil (10) comprend un dispositif de coupe (15) à l'aide duquel une bande de bordure (Wa), qui est tout d'abord formée à partir de la bande continue (W), est découpée lorsqu'elle passe dans ledit appareil (10) le long d'un trajet linéaire (L1). L'appareil (10) comprend également un dispositif de soufflerie (13a1) qui, grâce à son souffle (S1), va ensuite séparer la bande d'entrée (W') ainsi formée de la face (T'; H1). La bande d'entrée est ensuite transférée plus avant dans la machine à papier/carton grâce au souffle d'appoint (S2) généré par un dispositif de soufflerie (13a2).
