Abstract

La présente invention concerne un réseau (10) comprenant un ou plusieurs ordinateurs clients (11(1)) pouvant extraire des pages Web (20) et des articles de contenu supplémentaires (21), tels que des annonces publicitaires, d'un ou plusieurs ordinateurs serveurs (12(1)) afin de les afficher ou de les traiter de toute autre manière. Chaque page Web (20) peut présenter un contenu fixe, un ou plusieurs URL fixes (25(1)) identifiant des articles de contenu supplémentaires (27(1)) destinés, par exemple, à être affichés en des emplacements précis sur la page Web (20), et un ou plusieurs groupes d'articles conditionnels (26(1)), chaque groupe d'articles conditionnels (26(1)) comprenant un ou plusieurs articles de contenu ou identificateurs d'articles de contenu tels que des URL, et des critères de sélection personnels utilisés pour le choix de l'un des article(s) de contenu ou identificateur(s) affiché(s) en un emplacement respectif d'une page Web (20), par exemple.
