Abstract

Système optique servant à éclairer un affichage au moyen d'un éclairage pratiquement télécentrique au niveau d'une surface d'affichage dudit affichage. Dans un mode de réalisation, une première lentille possédant une première longueur focale (f1) et une deuxième lentille possédant une deuxième longueur focale (f2) sont séparées d'une distance correspondant à approximativement f1+f2. La première lentille reçoit de la lumière depuis une source de lumière produisant de la lumière au niveau d'une pluralité de points d'une surface de ladite source de lumière; à chaque point, de la lumière est émise selon une forme pyramidale prédéterminée possédant un axe et définissant un angle. La deuxième lentille, couplée optiquement à la première lentille, transmet de la lumière à l'affichage, qui possède une surface de modulation de lumière. Une pluralité de points au niveau de la surface de modulation de lumière reçoit une pluralité de formes pyramidales prédéterminées, alignées de manière à être parallèles.
