Abstract

The invention relates to the use of alkoxylated fatty acid low alkyl esters as solvents for color-producing preparations in the form of microcapsules to produce pressure-sensitive carbonless copying paper. Unlike known methyl ester-based solvents, the non-ionic surfactants display better dissolving properties and have an impeccable odor.
