Abstract
The present invention relates to a transparent coating agent that comprises a layered silicate capable of forming a colloidal gel in the presence of water. This invention also relates to the preparation of this agent and to its use for reducing the soiling process of facades.
Claims
1. Transparentes Beschichtungsmittel, enthaltend mindestens ein mit Wasser ein kolloidales Gel bildendes synthetisches Schichtsilikat.1. Transparent coating composition comprising at least one synthetic layered silicate forming a colloidal gel with water.
2. Beschichtungsmittel nach Anspruch 1 , dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Schichtsilikat ein nanoskaliges Schichtsilikat ist.2. Coating composition according to claim 1, characterized in that the layered silicate is a nanosize layered silicate.
3. Beschichtungsmittel nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Schichtsilikat eine mittlere Teilchengröße von 5 bis 800 nm besitzt.3. Coating composition according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the phyllosilicate has an average particle size of 5 to 800 nm.
4. Beschichtungsmittel nach einem oder mehreren der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, weiterhin enthaltend mindestens ein Kieselsol.4. Coating composition according to one or more of claims 1 to 3, further comprising at least one silica sol.
5. Beschichtungsmittel nach einem oder mehreren der Ansprüche 1 bis 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Mittel im DIN 4 mm-Auslaufbecher eine Auslaufzeit von mindestens 100 s aufweist.5. Coating composition according to one or more of claims 1 to 4, characterized in that the means in the DIN 4 mm discharge cup has a flow time of at least 100 s.
6. Beschichtungsmittel nach einem oder mehreren der Ansprüche 1 bis 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Mittel keine Fluidität besitzt.6. Coating composition according to one or more of claims 1 to 5, characterized in that the agent has no fluidity.
7. Beschichtungsmittel nach einem oder mehreren der Ansprüche 1 bis 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Mittel thixotrop ist.7. Coating composition according to one or more of claims 1 to 6, characterized in that the agent is thixotropic.
8. Beschichtungsmittel nach einem oder mehreren der Ansprüche 1 bis 7, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Mittel keinen organischen Gelbildner enthält.8. Coating composition according to one or more of claims 1 to 7, characterized in that the agent contains no organic gelling agent.
9. Verfahren zur Herstellung eines transparenten Beschichtungsmittels nach Anspruch 1 , dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß ein mit Wasser ein kolloidales Gel bildendes synthetisches Schichtsilikat mit Wasser versetzt wird und zu einem Gel verarbeitet wird.
139. A process for the preparation of a transparent coating composition according to claim 1, characterized in that a water forming a colloidal gel synthetic layer silicate is mixed with water and processed into a gel. 13
10. Verwendung eines transparenten Beschichtungsmittels nach Anspruch 1 in einem Anstrichmittel zur Schmutzabweisung.10. Use of a transparent coating composition according to claim 1 in a paint for soil repellence.
11. Verwendung eines transparenten Beschichtungsmittels nach Anspruch 1 als schmutzabweisende Beschichtung.11. Use of a transparent coating composition according to claim 1 as a dirt-repellent coating.
12. Anstrichmittel, enthaltend ein Pigment und ein mit Wasser ein kolloidalesGel bildendes synthetisches Schichtsilikat.
