The novel features of the invention consist of the jacket being provided with an additional collar insertion, that fits tightly around the neck protecting from water, wind, branches or the like. The collar insertion is shut around the neck with a separate zip. The jacket is provided with a zip, which is known from other jackets. The novel features of the invention further lie in that the jacket is provided with elastic insertions in its neck, shoulder and elbow portions, so that the jacket will remain in place when the wearer moves.

Description

Title
Jacket with two collars for work and leisure.
Field of the invention
The present invention relates to a jacket with two collars for tight sealing around the wearer's neck.
The jacket is provided with an insertion sewn into its inside and consisting of jacket material with a zip, which insertion at the top is terminated in a roll collar. The insertion is fastened to the jacket in the front part, in the sides and in the back part.
This construction of the jacket, having an insertion sewn thereto, makes it possible to achieve an effective sealing around the wearer's neck and breast that prevents rainwater, wind, branches and vermin to enter through the collar. The insertion is closed with a closure, for example a zip.
Further, the jacket is of the type that is shut in the front part, for example with a zip like known jackets.
According to a preferred embodiment, the jacket is provided with a hood.
Prior art
Jackets with collars and closing devices of various types have been known for a long time. There are jackets of many materials and designs. Known jackets are often used in combination with a scarf to give a tight sealing around the neck and breast.
The technical problem to be solved
Known jackets are impractical in use, since they do not give a tight sealing around the neck.
The object of the present invention is to provide an approved type of neck sealing for known jackets. The new neck sealing gives a better seal against cold weather, rain, branches and the like, at the same time as the sealing is always situated in the jacket. Summary of the invention
According to the present invention, the neck sealing of the jacket is a unit with collar, closure and jacket material that is sewn into the inside of the jacket. The jacket can be closed around the neck independent of closing of the jacket as such. After closing around the neck, the jacket can be closed or remain open as required.
Technical effect
Using the technique described above, i.e. a unit with a closing device and a roll collar which is sewn to the jacket, is it possible, as stated above, to create an effective sealing around the neck of the wearer. On most occasions this neck sealing will make it unnecessary to use a scarf
The invention and its preferred embodiments will now be described with reference to the figures.
Brief description of the drawings
FIG. 1 illustrates the jacket with the innermost zip closed in the neck portion and the outermost zip half unzipped.
FIG. 2 illustrates the jacket with both zips unzipped.
FIG. 3 is a rear view of the jacket provided with a hood. Also shown are the location of elastic insertions.
Description of the preferred embodiments
In figure "1" the jacket 1 is shown with the outermost zip half unzipped. The innermost zip is closed. Collar 4, shoulder and breast part 5.
In figure "2" the jacket 1 is shown with the outermost and innermost zips closed. The shoulder and breast part 5 is sewn into the jacket 1 at the right-hand side seam, at the neck seam 6, and at the left-hand side seam 8. The collar 10 of the jacket functions as an ordinary collar. The entire insertion consists of breast and side part 5, collar 4 and zip 3.
The insertion can be sewn to the jacket along seam 9, provided for sewing of the lining. Side and breast part 5 can have the same length as the jacket 1 or shorter if required, as shown in figure "1". Alternatively, the insertion could be fastened in such a way that it would be detachable when required. Figure "3" illustrates the jacket provided with a hood 11. An elastic insertion 12 is sewn to the neck part of hood 11 which has the effect that the hood moves with the head of the wearer when it is bent to the sides or leaned back and forth.
Elastic insertions 13 in the shoulder parts result in that the sleeves will not be drawn up when the arms are bent.

Claims

Claims
1. Figure 1 & 2. Jacket, preferably intended for working, leisure and sporting purposes, consisting of a jacket 1 provided with an insertion sewn thereto, the insertion being composed of breast and side part 5, roll collar 4 and zip 3; the jacket being novel in the respect that the insertion 4 is sewn into the jacket and thereby gives a complete seal around the wearer's neck.
2. Figure 1. Jacket according to claim 1 being novel in that the collar 4 of the insertion can be shut so that it forms a seal by which means the wearer can do without a scarf.
3. Jacket according to claims 1 and 2 being novel in that the collar seals all the way around the neck so that water, wind, branches, vermin and the like cannot enter the jacket.
4. Figure 3. Jacket according to claims 1-3 being novel in that elastic insertions 12-13-14 in the neck, shoulder and arms have the effect that the jacket will remain in place without shifting its position, when the wearer moves.
