Abstract

L'invention concerne la représentation en images (éventuellement avec une lentille) de la fluorescence provenant d'une diode laser (12) ou d'une source d'excitation de diode électroluminescente (112) sur un détecteur à photodiodes au silicium (16, 116). Un filtre optique (18, 118) est placé entre la cellule échantillon (20, 120) et le détecteur à photodiodes pour renvoyer une lumière d'excitation diffusée. La sortie de la photodiode est amplifiée (22, 122) pour produire une tension de sortie proportionnelle à la quantité de fluorescence touchant le détecteur à photodiodes. Puisque la fluorescence est proportionnelle à la concentration de fluorophore présente dans le flux échantillon, et que la concentration de fluorophore est elle-même proportionnelle à la concentration d'un agent de traitement chimique ou d'un autre additif présent, on peut effectuer une surveillance continue de la sortie en tension, ce qui permet d'obtenir une mesure en temps réel de la quantité d'agent de traitement chimique ou d'un autre additif présent dans le système.
