- This type of pistol is for single use and it fir s ⁇ oft balls.
- the device consists of a housing, at the rear end of which a firing pin is placed, the front part of the pin being formed as a needle.
- Radially in the housing there is a trigger plunger under spring force, in which a stepped cylindrical cavity is formed with an axis coaxial with the axis of motion of the firing pin.
- the cartridge is disposed in a firing chamber right in front of the trigger plunger.
- the muzzle opening is a cup- shaped cavity tapered rearward ly to a funnel-shaped construction.
- a ball is disposed at the converging walls, forming spherical curvatu e.
- Th ⁇ pistol for shooting balls is const ucted for single use, and its loading is made by the manufacturer. This circumstance con iderabl reduces the reliability in using the pistol, since the spring of the striker has been tensioned for a long time (before the use of the pistol), and it is possible to get distorted, which would hamper or would make impossible the shooting.
- camouflage pistol which construction provides quick acting and reliability in using.
- the double-barrelled camouflage pistol consists of a housing, where a striker under spring force is positioned, the front end of which is formed as a needle.
- a trigger- button is located in an opening in the housing, the trigger- button being provided with an opening directed along the axis of motion of the striker.
- In the front part of the housing there is a cartridge chamber, where cartridges are placed.
- a safety device is hinged to the t igger button.
- the housing comprises a barrel block and a striker block connected to each other by means of "dove tail" profile of their end parts.
- a positioning pin located in the barrel block ensures t « immovable engaging of the barrel block and the striker- block.
- a guide bar is disposed, the front end of the bar being formed as a head, There a e str ikers ⁇ ti the both side> of the guide bar, the rear ends of the strikers being provided with heads similar to the head of the guide bar .
- Two firiny pins are placed in corresponding radial holes formed in the front part of the striker block, the pins being provided with openings sized so as to match the size of the str iker body.
- a closing element with axles fixed to its face surface, the axes or the axles coinciding with the axes of motion of the strikers.
- Two perpendicular grooves are formed on the rear sur ace of the closing element, one of the grooves having a greater depth where a safety device is disposed.
- the barrel block is provided with channels and centrally between them a trigger posi ioning pin is placed which is in contact with a button provided in the housing of the barrel block.
- double-barrelled camouflage pistol provides possibility for multiple loading with cartridges, the loading being rapid and easy and carried out by releasing the positioning pin and separating the striker block from the barrel block.
- This construction allows the using of spare barrel blocks, which are preloaded with different kinds of cartridges (with different kind of gas).
- the pistol, subject-matter of the invention is more reliable in use, because the constructive design of the front part of the striker block ensures sealing of the bottom of the cartridge-case and does not allow gas leakage when shooting.
- the pistol prevents an accidental shot by means of safety device, and after releasing it by a single pulling the pistol is ready to fire.
- the shooting may be single or simultaneous from both barrels depending on the situation.
- FIG.1 is a general view of the pistol in disassembled condition.
- FIG.2 is a cross-section of the pistol in cocked position from one barrel .
- the double-barrelled camouflage pistol consists of a barrel block 1 with a cylindrical positioning pin 4 centrally mounted in the barrel, the front end of the pin 4 leaning against a spring 3.
- the lower portion of a cylindrical button 2 passes through the positioning pin 4, the button 2 being disposed in a ra ial opening in the barrel block 1.
- In the barrel block 1 there are for ed channels, the ar ends of each of them end as cartridge seats.
- the ear part of the barrel block 1 is in the orm of "dove tail" and is mounted with its counterpart profile, formed in the front part of a st iker block 5.
- a cylindrical guide bar 6 having in its front part a head wi h a diameter larger than the diameter of the rod of the guide bar 6.
- a spring 7 is placed onto the rod of the guide bar 6, one of the vn ⁇ , of the spring 7 being in contact with the head of the guide bar 6, and the other end reaches the front su face of an element 8, closing the striker block 5.
- the rear part of the guide bar 6 passes centrally through an opening in the closing element 8 and extends outride trie body of the pistol .
- strikers 9 Symmetrically on both sides of the guide bar 6 there a e disposed strikers 9, the front part of which is formed as a fi ing pin and their rear parts end with cylindrical heads with size laryer than the size of the body.
- striker block 5 At the front end of the striker block 5 there re two radial holes, coinciding with the a*es of motion of the strikers 3 and where firing pins 10 of the "button" type are placed.
- the fi ing pins 10 have ope i rigs whose dimensions allow for a free motion of the strikers 9.
- Springs 11 are positioned under the firing ins 10.
- the closing element 8 fixed to the striker block 5 by iueat . of pins 12, is isposed in the rear part of the striker block 5 in a specially designed profile seat.
- axles are immovab.ly fixed coinciding with the axes of motion of the strikers 9.
- springs 13 are stuck, one of the ends of each spring contact the rear part of the strikers 9, and their other ends reach the front surface of the closing element 8.
- Two perpendicular grooves with different depths are formed on the rear surface of the closing element 8, The groove lying on the shorter axle is deeper and accommodates a safety device 14, the height of the safety device 14 being bigger than its width.
- a pulling ring 15 passes through the radial opening in the rear- end of the guide bar 6 and through the radial opening of the safety device 14.
- the pulling ring 15 is pulled rearwardly thus causing the head of the guide bar 6 to pull the strikers 9 rearwardly, pressing the springs 13 and the spring of the guide bar 7 so that the safety device 14 goes out of the deeper groove.
- the pulling ring 15 rotates at 90° and the safety device 14 goes into the other groove of the closing element 8.
- the guide bar 6 is released at this position.
- the button 2 is retracted forwardly pressing the spring 3 of the positioning pin 4, which moves out of the axial hole of the striker block 5.
- the barrel block 1 and striker block 5 are disengaged and by transverse motion they can be separated.
- Two cartridges are placed into the cartridge cases of the barrel block 1. After that in reversed sequence the barrel block 1 and the striker block 5 " are fixed by releasing the button 2, so that the spring 3 of the positioning pfn 4 pushes the latter into the axial opening in the striker block 5.
- the pistol is in ready to fire position with a safety device.
- the ring 15 is pulled rearwardly to fully retracted position, where the guide bar 6 pulls the strikers 9 to rear end position, pressing the springs 13 and the spring 7 of the guide bar 6. Then the firing pins 10 move radially upwards under the action of the springs 11 and stop in the path of the strikers 9.
- the pulling ring 15 rotates at 90° and then releases, where under the action of spring 7 of the guide bar 6 the latter rushes for ard to end position, and the safety device 14 enters into the deeper groove of the closing element 8.
- the Tiring pin 10 which presses the spring 11.
- the radial opening of the firing pin 10 coincides with the opening where the strikers 9 move, the latter r ush forward under the action of the springs 13, and with their firing pins break the capsule of the cartridge making a fire.
- This construction allows shooting from each barrel or from both barrels simultaneously by pressing both firing pins 10. If necessary the rate of shooting may be speeded up when spare loaded barrel blocks are available.
- the const uction of the pistol is de igned for secret carrying and its size and shape do not leave the notion of a weapon. It can be used as a reliable device for unavoidable self-defence and can be loaded with different kinds of gas cart idges.
