Abstract

Cette invention se rapporte à des convertisseurs qui génèrent des ondes acoustiques à partir d'oscillations électriques et émettent une puissance acoustique dans le milieu environnant, et concerne plus précisément des haut-parleurs. Cette invention permet d'accroître la qualité des fréquences sonores restituées, ceci dans toutes les plages de fréquences audio. Le signal électrique d'une plage de fréquence audio est fourni sous forme d'un signal numérique à code parallèle à N décharges. A partir de chacune des N décharges du signal numérique, on génère des séries d'impulsions rectangulaires qui sont synchrones aux séries binaires de décharges correspondantes du signal numérique. Les signaux ainsi obtenus sont ensuite utilisés afin d'exciter N émetteurs acoustiques qui vont émettre N séries de signaux de type impulsions acoustiques. Les impulsions rectangulaires ainsi obtenues peuvent également servir à exciter simultanément Z émetteurs acoustiques provenant d'un groupe de M≥2N-1 émetteurs acoustiques qui possèdent une puissance d'émission identique. Le nombre Z d'émetteurs acoustiques excités simultanément, pour chaque intervalle de temps égal à la période de la fréquence de discrétisation du signal numérique de la plage de fréquences audio, est calculé en fonction de conditions prédéterminées.
