Abstract

Le système de la présente invention comporte un ordinateur et au moins un terminal portable pour carte à puce. Un tel terminal comporte un boîtier doté d'une fente d'insertion pour carte à puce, un microprocesseur, une mémoire, un organe d'affichage, un clavier et un connecteur conçu pour raccorder le terminal à l'ordinateur par l'intermédiaire d'une ligne de connexion. Chaque terminal comporte un organe conçu pour établir une connexion avec l'ordinateur par l'intermédiaire de la ligne de connexion, et l'ordinateur comporte un organe assurant la communication avec la carte à puce du terminal.
