Abstract
La présente invention concerne un dispositif électrochrome par électrophotochimie. Cet appareil est constitué d'une première électrode (12) transparente et d'une seconde électrode (14) transparente, un écartement étant ménagé entre ces électrodes qui sont parallèles entre elles. La première électrode (12) transparente comporte une liaison galvanique avec la seconde électrode (14) transparente. Un matériau électrochrome (16) est appliqué sur la première électrode (12) transparente, un revêtement semi-conducteur (18) étant appliqué sur la seconde électrode (14) transparente. Une couche d'électrolyte (22) est en contact avec le matériau électrochrome (16) et avec le revêtement semi-conducteur (18). La couche d'électrolyte (22) comporte un couple oxydoréducteur faisant que la lumière incidente provoque l'absorption de la lumière par le revêtement semi-conducteur (18) et que le couple oxydoréducteur s'oxyde, ce qui produit un champ électrique à travers le dispositif et module la transparence effective du dispositif.
