  • the table for backbone setting operates in the following manner: the mobile panel 1 on the immobile frame 20 set then in horizontal position, from this zero-position marked in Fig. 2 and 3 with D, is manually tilted into position A as in Fig. 1. Accordingly, lifting of weight 3 is employed when at the end of movement of the mobile panel 1 a pivotal mechanism 4 is locked. Now, the patient/user is laid down on the table in horizontal position lying on the mattress 6 with cushion pad 11 of the immobile back panel 5 and on the mattress 7 of the mobile foot panel 1 where the patient is strapped by a belt 8 on the hip and/or by upholstered barrel 42 over feet, holding by both hands supporters 9 and 10.
  • Direct massage of patient's/user's back is carried out separately from other activities, by switching on the electric motor 40 vibromasseur which transmits its vibrations to the back panel 5 of the table for backbone setting.
  • the programming of al 1 the said activities on the table for backbone setting is accomplished by the control panel 21 connected to the power box, and some controls are set on the supports 9 and 10 for patients/users hands, enabling them complete self-control for performing certain activities.

Abstract

Table utilisée pour exercer une traction sur la colonne vertébrale, se composant d'une base (25) sur laquelle est fixée un élément de support (34) et d'un panneau supportant le dos (5) placé sur pivots (30, 31), ainsi que d'éléments de supports (35, 36) fixés à la base (25) par des pivots (37, 38), supportant un cadre rigide (20) également sur pivots (32, 33). Dans ce cadre (20) sont intégrées des roulettes (16, 17, 18, 19) guidant un panneau supportant les jambes (1) muni d'un mécanisme pivotant (4) pourvu d'une poignée (2). Un moteur électrique (39) est fixé sur le cadre (20) avec une poulie à câble (13), ce moteur comportant une poulie à câble excentrée (14), le câble (12) étant accroché à un élément de support (15) fixé sur le panneau supportant les jambes (1), et passé dans la poulie (13) reliée à un poids (3). Le panneau supportant le dos (5) et le cadre fixe (20) sont pivotants l'un par rapport à l'autre par l'intermédiaire des éléments (28, 29) d'un pivot de connexion (27) relié à une broche filetée (26), elle-même reliée au moteur électrique (23) par une vis sans fin, et fixée via un manchon (26a) sur le pivot (24) de la base (25). Le panneau supportant le dos (5) est recouvert d'un matelas (6) qui comporte une partie coussin (11). Il comporte aussi des poignées (9, 10) équipées de commandes de puissance. L'élément supportant les jambes (1) est recouvert d'un matelas (7) avec une ceinture abdominale (8) et comporte un cylindre rembourré réglable par une coulisse (43) se déplaçant dans une glissière verticale (44) ainsi que par une coulisse (45) se déplaçant dans une glissière horizontale (46).
