Abstract

Une interface radio est obtenue dans un système de radiocommunications par paquets (SGSN, GGSN, 10) au moyen d'un réseau de communications mobiles numérique (BTS, BSC, MSC, HLR). Un équipement terminal bimodal (MS) est capable de fonctionner à la fois dans un état mobile et dans un état de radiocommunications par paquets mais il contrôle différents canaux de commande dans ces états. Il existe des informations dans la base de données de l'abonné (HLR) du réseau de communications mobiles indiquant que la station mobile (MS) n'est pas disponible lorsqu'elle se trouve dans l'état de radiocommunications par paquets. Ceci permet le renvoi automatique d'appels et des messages appropriés relatifs aux appels de raccordement mobiles. Il peut également exister des informations dans la base de données de l'abonné (HLR) indiquant que la station mobile se trouve dans l'état de radiocommunications par paquets. Dans ce cas, la base de données de l'abonné (HLR) du réseau de communications mobiles peut envoyer un avis à la station mobile (MS) par l'intermédiaire du réseau de radiocommunications par paquets (SGSN, GGS, 10) indiquant que la station mobile doit passer à l'état mobile afin de recevoir un appel entrant.
