Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé de formation d'un ballonnet destiné à un cathéter de dilatation, ce procédé comprenant les étapes suivantes: extrusion d'un segment de matière thermoplastique, maintien de la partie centrale à une température inférieure à la température de transition vitreuse de la matière thermoplastique, étirement du segment à une longueur déterminée préalablement, cette longueur étant telle que l'épaisseur de la paroi de la partie centrale ne subit pas de modification sensible après étirement, et dilatation du segment dans un moule en vue de la formation du ballonnet.
