Abstract

Il est possible de rendre leur fécondité à certaines plantes à stérilité mâle à l'aide de jasmonate exogène ou d'un composé apparenté, et on présente des procédés d'identification et de production de plantes 'à fécondité mâle conditionnelle' obtenues par des mutations interférant avec le métabolisme normal de l'acide jasmonique. La capacité d'identification et/ou de production de plantes 'à fécondité mâle conditionnelle' et le rétablissement de leur fécondité par une simple application d'un composé chimique constitue la base d'un système de fécondité mâle conditionnelle largement applicable à la culture hybride de plantes de grande culture et horticoles.
