  • the tank should be completely filled, so that the liner bears on the inner layer 21 for substantially the whole of the area of that layer. Thus, there will be little movement between the liner and the inner layer, but in view of the soft nature of that layer 21, there will be essentially no abrasion of the liner. It is envisaged that once the tank has been used to transport a liquid from one place to another within the cargo container, the entire tank 14 will be scrapped, though the materials from which that tank has been made may be recovered for recycling.

Abstract

Ensemble réservoir s'adaptant dans un conteneur de marchandises (12) pour le transport en vrac de liquides, cet ensemble réservoir comportant une couche externe (20) constituée d'une matière plastique dure, résistant à l'abrasion et d'une couche interne souple (21). Une garniture interne (22) imperméable au liquide à transporter est placée entre la couche interne (21) et la couche externe (20) de façon à rester indépendante de celles-ci. Des courroies (15, 18) sont fixées à la couche externe (20) et s'étendent vers le conteneur (12) et vers des barres (29) qui s'étendent transversalement et qui sont raccordées au conteneur au niveau des deux extrémités du réservoir. Des cloisons de séparation (16, 17) peuvent être ménagées à chaque extrémité du réservoir, ce dernier pouvant être replié entre les cloisons pour faciliter son transport avant qu'il soit rempli de liquide.
