Abstract

La présente invention porte sur un nouveau matériel chirurgical, lequel comprend une combinaison d'un dispositif de fixation pour os, d'un dispositif de préhension d'un fil de suture, et/ou d'un instrument de poussée et d'abaissement de ce fil, tous perfectionnés. On peut utiliser ce matériel, par exemple dans des procédures endoscopiques afin de réparer et rattacher des tissus mous. Ce matériel comprend un dispositif de fixation pour os comportant un élément extensible présentant un canal axial ainsi qu'un élément de forme allongé, inséré dans ce canal. Cet élément extensible est conçu pour être inséré dans un trou percé dans un os. On provoque cette extension à l'aide d'une force de compression continue (à savoir, une pression sans à-coup ou impact). Cet élément extensible est saisi au niveau de son extrémité distale, tout au long de sa procédure de mise en place, et il est libéré axialement à partir d'un outil destiné à ladite mise en place. Ce matériel peut encore comprendre un dispositif de préhension d'un fil de suture comportant un axe creux et rigide, une tige, un premier élément de forme allongée, de type fil métallique, un second élément de forme allongée également de type fil métallique, ainsi qu'un dispositif de commande. En outre, ce matériel comprend un élément de poussée et d'abaissement d'un fil de suture, lequel élément se compose d'un ensemble manche présentant des premier et second éléments de manche, reliés de façon mobile aux fins d'un déplacement l'un par rapport à l'autre, ainsi que d'une tige de forme allongée, fixée de manière détachable sur le premier élément de manche.
