Abstract

La présente invention concerne un moyen d'emballage pour des articles fragiles et un procédé pour fabriquer ce moyen d'emballage. Le moyen d'emballage est constitué par un élément d'emballage ayant une configuration adaptée aux contours des articles à protéger. L'élément d'emballage comprend une pièce de base et une pièce latérale qui fait partie intégrante de la pièce de base et qui s'étend sensiblement perpendiculairement à celle-ci. Le moyen d'emballage est caractérisé par au moins deux sous-unités d'emballage (2, 12, 22), réalisées chacune à partir d'une ébauche plate en carton, de préférence de carton ondulé. Les deux ébauches sont superposées et pliées pour former respectivement les pièces de base (4, 14, 24) et les pièces latérales (6, 16, 26, 27) associées.
