Abstract

An electric incandescent lamp is disclosed, in particular a low-watt, low-voltage incandescent lamp, as well as a process for producing the same. The lamp has a helical tungsten filament (4) with straight ends (4a, 4b) that are each soldered or welded to a current supply (2, 3). The current supplies (2, 3) are made of a metal with a lower fusion temperature than tungsten. In order to solder or weld the incandescent helical filament (4) to the current supplies (2, 3), the latter are arranged in such a way that the straight ends (4a, 4b) of the helical filament and the preferably hook-shaped ends (2a, 3a) of the current supplies cross each other. The ends (2a, 3a) of the current supplies are quickly heated up to their fusion temperature by a laser. The molten mass flows over the corresponding end (4a, 4b) of the helical filament, so that after the molten mass solidifies the ends of the helical filament are embedded in the metal of the current supplies.

Description

The invention relates to an electric incandescent lamp and a method for producing an electric incandescent lamp according to the preamble of claim 1.
Such an incandescent lamp is disclosed, for example, in German published patent application DE 31 41 330. The incandescent lamp described in this publication has an incandescent filament made of tungsten, the simply coiled ends of which are hard-soldered to a power supply line, preferably made of molybdenum. To produce the brazed connection, the power supply lines are melted at their ends by means of a soldering electrode, so that the melt runs between the turns of the single-ended filament ends. After the melt has solidified, the incandescent filament and the power supply lines are reliably connected to one another. The disadvantage here, however, is that the filament ends welded to the current leads are coiled, since the soldering of the coiled filament ends to the ends of the current leads leads to undesired torsion of the filament and thus to inaccuracies in the positioning of the filament in the lamp bulb can.
It is the object of the invention to provide an electric incandescent lamp with an improved incandescent filament holder and a production method for such an incandescent lamp.
This object is achieved according to the invention by the characterizing features of patent claim 1. Particularly advantageous embodiments of the invention are described in the subclaims. The electric light bulbs according to the invention have tungsten filaments with uncoiled ends, each of which is welded or soldered to the melted and re-solidified end of a power supply. The power supplies consist of a metal that has a lower melting temperature than the tungsten of the filament. This ensures that only the metal of the power supply melts when welding the end of the filament and the power supply. The tungsten of the filament, on the other hand, does not melt and does not recrystallize during the welding or soldering process. Since the ends of the incandescent filament which are welded or soldered to the power supply lines are uncoiled, the welding or soldering process cannot cause the incandescent filament to twist, which could lead to inaccuracies in the positioning of the incandescent filament in the lamp bulb. The power supply lines for the incandescent filament preferably consist of mol b-dän, which is particularly well suited for use in lamp bulbs made of quartz glass or for melting in lamp bulbs made of hard glass.
To produce the incandescent lamp according to the invention, the ends of the power supply lines, which are advantageously hook-shaped, are preferably locally heated and melted briefly by means of a LASER under a protective gas atmosphere. The melt flows around the uncoiled incandescent and solidifies. After the melt has solidified, the filament ends are completely embedded in the metal of the power supply lines and the welding or soldering points between the filament and the power supply lines have no appreciable electrical contact resistance. This type of filament holder is particularly well suited for low-wattage low-voltage incandescent lamps, in particular also for low-wattage low-voltage halogen incandescent lamps.
Es zeigen:The invention is explained in more detail below on the basis of a preferred embodiment. Show it:

The incandescent lamp according to the invention shown schematically in FIG. 1 is a low-wattage low-voltage halogen incandescent lamp which is used as a light source for headlights or tail lights of two-wheelers, such as, for. B. bicycle or moped is used. The nominal voltage of the lamp is approximately 6 V and its electrical power consumption is less than 3 W. This lamp has a lamp bulb 1 made of hard glass, in particular made of borosilicate glass, which is sealed gas-tight by means of a pinch seal. From the lamp bulb 1, two current leads 2, 3, which are melted down in a gas-tight manner in the pinch seal 1 a, are led out of molybdenum. Within the lamp bulb 1 there is a single-coiled filament 4 made of tungsten with perpendicular ends to the lamp axis and uncoiled ends 4a, 4b. The uncoiled filament ends 4a, 4b are each welded or soldered to the end 2a, 3a of the power supply lines 2, 3 protruding into the interior of the lamp bulb 1. In the interior of the lamp bulb 1 there are inert gas (eg argon, krypton or xenon) and a small amount of a halogen compound which is gaseous during lamp operation.
To manufacture the halogen incandescent lamp according to the exemplary embodiment depicted in FIG. 1, a lamp bulb 1 made of hard glass, a single-coiled tungsten filament 4 with uncoiled ends 4a, 4b and two current leads 2, 3 made of molybdenum wire are used. One end 2 a, 3 a of the power supply lines 2, 3 is hook-shaped. The diameter of the power supply lines 2, 3 is approximately 0.5 mm and the diameter of the tungsten wire of the filament is approximately 0.05 mm. The angled sections 2a, 3a of the power supply ends have a length of approximately 0.5 mm to 1.0 mm. For welding or soldering the filament 4 with the current leads 2, 3 are fixed in a holding device (not shown) and aligned so that the filament ends 4a, 4b and the current leads 2, 3 intersect and the uncoiled ends 4a, 4b of the tungsten filament 4 into the hook-shaped Power supply ends 2a, 3a are hooked or hooked. Then the angled section of the hook-shaped ends 2a, 3a of the power supply lines 2, 3 is briefly heated to the melting point under a protective gas atmosphere with the aid of a LASER. The molybdenum melt flows around the uncoiled tungsten filament ends 4a, 4b and solidifies. After the melt solidifies, the coil ends 4a, 4b are completely embedded in the molybdenum of the current leads 2, 3. Thereafter, the incandescent filament 4 is inserted into the lamp bulb 1 and this is squeezed tightly in a known manner above the current leads 2, 3. The lamp bulb 1 is evacuated via a pump stem 5 and filled with inert gas.
The invention is not limited to the exemplary embodiment described in more detail above. The manufacturing method according to the invention also works if the ends 2a, 3a of the power supply lines 2, 3 are not bent in a hook shape. It is already sufficient if the uncoiled filament ends 4a, 4b and the current leads 2, 3 are fixed and aligned in the holding device in such a way that they intersect. The ends 2a, 3a of the power supply lines 2, 3 should each protrude about 0.5-1.0 mm beyond the respective spiral end 4a, 4b. The protruding current supply ends 2a, 3a are then melted with the aid of a LASER under a protective gas atmosphere, so that the molybdenum melt wets and encloses the spiral ends 4a, 4b. After the melt solidifies, the coil ends 4a, 4b are largely embedded in the molybdenum of the current leads 2, 3.
The invention can also be applied to incandescent lamps with incandescent filaments oriented axially (lying in the lamp axis). Furthermore, the lamp bulb 1 can also consist of quartz glass and be closed by means of a known molybdenum foil melting technique. In addition, the invention can also be applied to incandescent lamps without halogen filling. In this case, the power supply lines can also consist of a copper sheathed wire, nickel or iron wire.
