Abstract

L'unité de suspension proposée pour un châssis de véhicule, par exemple une voiture de sport, est destinée à assurer une répartition de la charge sur les roues lorsque le véhicule tourne, freine ou accélère. L'unité de suspension comprend des bras de liaison reliant les roues au châssis ou au cadre, auxquels les éléments de ressort principaux sont également reliés. Le châssis est relié au cadre par des paliers de vibro-impulsions mobiles transmettant la force du châssis au cadre lorsque le véhicule tourne et lorsque la force centrifuge ou d'autres forces externes latérales ou longitudinales s'exercent; ceux-ci assurent que la charge sur les roues est redistribuée de manière à faire supporter une charge supérieure aux roues soumises à moins de charge. Le fait de disposer des paliers mobiles dans la liaison entre les éléments de ressort et le châssis ou le cadre facilite la redistribution de la charge des roues par décalage du châssis ou du cadre, et formation d'une paire de composantes de force impulsive agissant avantageusement dans des directions identiques ou différentes sur le châssis, et favorisant la redistribution de la charge sur les roues.
