Abstract

In a damp floorcloth scrubbing device comprising a body (1) capable of transferring floorcloths (10, 10', 10''), selectively, toward the front spools (5, 5') or the rear spools (6, 6', 6'') according to operation of a driving device (7), in which on the lower surface thereof a pushing plate (4) made from elastic material is set by insertion; a handle (2) protruded slantingly toward the rear on the center of the outer surface of the body (1); a detergent storage container (3) mounted on one side of the outer surface of the body (1); and a spray means (8) spraying detergent provided from said container (3) toward the lower surface, the front or both sides of the body (1), selectively, by said driving device (7), the present invention relates to a manual damp floorcloth scrubbing device that comprises an electric driving device (70) being operated according to rotation of the driving shaft (102) by a driving handle (H), a counter device (9) being operated by a ratchet wheel (R3) and a click (96a).

Technical Field

Field of the Invention

Ihe present invention relates to a manual damp floorcloth scrubbing device,

more particularly, a manual damp floorcloth scrubbing device which a catridge

floorcloth for one time or roll type floorcloth made of unwoven fabrics is

mounted to sweep transferring the floorcloth intermittently according to rotation

of a driving handle, or whcih said floorcloth is wetted by spray of water or

detergent to sweep, if necessary, the moment the floorcloth is transferred.

Background Art

In a conventional damp floorcloth scrubbing device, on the lower of a body

of the scrubbing device, a pad type floorcloth is mounted or the floorcloth is

wound on the outer surface of a roller set to revolve under the body to sweep

according to movement of said body.

However, the above-mentioned conventional manual damp floorcloth scrubbing

device has many defects as follows ;

Ihe first, since every time the scrubbing devices are used, the floorcloths should be immersed in the detergent or water, the bodies of the scrubbing devices

set the floorcloths should be moved to immerse it to the remote detergent stroage

container or the floorcloths only are separated from the devices, then after

wetting it, the wetted floorcloths should be reset on the rolls of the scrubbing

devices to use.

Therefore, the conventional damp floorcloth scrubbing devices were

inconvenint in use.

Ihe second, since said floorcloth has narrow width, it is contaminated

easily in short time. Accordingly it was inconvenient to clean frequently.

Ihe third, because it is difficult to adjust wetting level of the damp

floorcloth, after the scrubbing with the damp floorcloth, lots of moisture may

yet remain on the floor, whereby it should be again wiped with a dry duster.

Disclosure of the Invention Accordingly, the present invention relates to improve the above-mentioned

conventional defects, more particularly, the present invention is to provide a

scrubbing device capable of providing new floorcloth alway transferring

intermittenly, if necessary, a contaminated part of long floorcloth and of

spraying detergent solution to the floorcloth the moment the clean floorcloth is transferred. Ihus the present invention is to provide the scrubbing device

for resolving the defects such as frequent washing, assembling, disassembling or

wetting of the floorcloth.

Furthermore, the present invention relates to utilize a part of the damp

floorcloth scrubbing device capable of using as a vacuum sweeper, provided that a

driving device for transferring the floorcloth, a counter device and a detergent

storage container are drived manually.

The present invention will be clear from the following description referred

to the accompanying drawings.

Best Hode for Carring Out the Invention In a damp floorcloth scrubbing device comprising, a body 1 which a pushing

plate 4 made from elastic material is set by inserting, the first and second

spool mounting members 14,15 for mounting front spools 5,5' and rear spools

6,6',6" are established in the front and rear, respectively, and inside thereof a

driving device 7 for driving the scrubbing device and a spray means 8 for

spraying detergent are equipped ; a handle 2 protruded slantingly toward the rear

from the center of the upper of the body 1 ; a detergent storage container 3

capable of hanging on the body 1 or a belt of a waist, a manual damp floorcloth

scrubbing device characterized in that said handle 2, as shown is Fig 1, is

positioned in the center of the upper of the body 1 and consists of multiple

linear or curved connector 21 which can adjust its height and gradient

optionally, a driving shaft 102 having a boss 102a for inserting a driving handle

an electric driving device 70 for driving said driving device 7 of the inside of

is fixed to hang on the belt of a waist by disassembling from the body 1, on one

to wind or unwind, in optional length, a hose 33 connected with a connecting pipe

81a of a spray means 8, on the upper of said contaier 3 a providing hole 35 for

providing detergent is formend, said container is connected with one end of the

hose 33, the other end of said hose 33 is connected with the connecting pipe 81a

of said spray means 8 protruded on the upper of the body 1, in lateral side of

said hose 33 a flux control value 36 is established to control flux.

In said driving device 7 for driving the scrubbing device, a driving gear

G3, the first, second and third electric gears G.,Gs,G6 being driven from the

rear to the front are engaged with each other in turn, between the first

sub-driving gear Gi being pivotted on the first spool shaft 71 and the second

sub-driving gear Gz being pivotted on the second spool shaft 72, also inside said

drving device 7 an electric driving device 70 for rotating said driving gear G3

in regular or inversive directions is established, in which said electric driving

device 70 comprises, a gear 701 pivotted on the outer surface of the free end of

a driving gear shaft S3 of said driving gear G3 extented toward the inside space

of said driving device 7 . a gear 703 engaged with said gear 701 and equipped on a shaft 702 pivotted to rotate on a shaft bearing 101 of the center of the body 1

; a sub-driving pulley 704 pivotted together on the same shaft 702 of said gear

703 ; a driving pulley 705 pivotted on a driving shaft 102 which is positioned

under the handle 2 and is revolved according to the operation of the driving

handle H ; and a belt connecting said pulleys 704, 705, each other.

Preferrably, on the outer surface of said pulleys 704, 705 multiple

projections are formed at regular intervals, as well as on said belt 706 multiple

of projections are formed to correspond to said projections of said pulley in

order to transfer rotation force of the driving pulley 705 to the sub-driving

pulley 704 substantially.

To operate the driving device 7 by means of the electric driving device 70,

if the driving handle H is rotated clockwise after it is inserted to the boss

102a of the driving shaft 102, by the rotating force of said driving shaft 102

the driving gear shaft S3 is rotated through the electric driving device 70,

thereby the driving gear G3 is rotated in inversive direction (counter

clockwise), subsequently the motive power is transmitted to the gears Gι,G.,Gs.G6

in turn to operate the scrubbing device manually as described in the damp

floorcloth scrubbing device capable of using as a vacuum sweeper filed by the

applicant of the present invention on the same date (1994. 4.23, Application No,

94-8648). In the damp floorcloth scrubbing device of the present invention a counter

device 9 for counting transferred amount of the floorcloth is put, said device 9

comprises one way center clutch 91 which is fixed to the outer surface of the

shaft Ss of the second electric driving gear Gs, extended toward the inside of

the body 1 ; a pair of arc wings 91a which is pivotted to rovolve by a pin 93 on

both ends of said one way center clutch 91 and which is supported counter

clockwise elastically by a spring 91b ; and an electric driving ring 92, in which

said ring 92 is pivotted on a supporting member 95 in the inner surface thereof

two inner projections 92b is protruded in opposite sites to restrict free

rotation of both ends of said arc wings 91a rotating together with them counter

clockwise, in suitable position of the outer surface one outer projection 92b is

protruded, the outer projection 92a of said electric driving ring 92 is engaged

with a flat gear 94 fixed to a rotation shaft S_ as the other shaft parallel with

said shaft Ss in said body 1, said flat gear 94 is supported elastically by a

twist return spring 109 which one end thereof is fixed to the body 1, the other

end thereof is fixed to said flat gear 94, on the same rotation shaft S. of said

flat gear 94 a ratchet wheel R3 and a counter dial 104 are fixed in turn in which

on the outer surface of said dial 104 rotation numbers are expressed, a part of

the upper thereof is exposed on the outer surface of the body 1 and said ratchet

wheel R3 is engaged with a click 96a revolving in regular or inversive directions centering around a shaft 106 by means of pressing of a pushing button 96b and

return power of a return spring 107.

To operate the counter device 9 of the present invention as described above,

when the damp floorcloth is transferred from the rear spool shaft 72 to the front

spool shaft 71, if the driving shaft 102, the electric driving device 70 and the

driving device 7 are operated in turn by means of operation of the driving handle

H, the first the shaft Ss is revolved according to rotation of the second

electric driving gear Gs of those engaged in trim, then the arc wings 91a fixed

to the shaft Ss are revolved to rotate the electric driving ring 92 which the

inner projections 92b are restricted by them, at this time the flat gear 94 is

revolved in stages by means of the outer projection 92a of the electric driving

ring 92, subsequently the rachet gear R3 fixed on the same rotation shaft Sβ of

said flat gear 94 is revolved to rotate the counter dial 104, according to

rotation of said dial 104 rotation numbers of the floorcloth can be read by the

exposed part of the counter dial 104, when the counter dial 104 is initialized

after the floorcloth is wound completely, if the pushing button 96b is pressed to

disengage the click 96a from the ratchet wheel R3, said counter device 9 fixed on

the same rotation shaft S_ of the ratchet wheel R3, by return power of the return

spring 109 of the ratchet wheel R3, is retruned to the initial status and if said

button 96b is released the click 96a is engaged with the ratchet wheel Bs by the spring 107. As stated above, the counter dial 104 is revolved repeatedly.

When the scrubbing is carried out using the manual damp floorcloth scrubbing

device in accordance with the present invention, if the driving shaft 102 is

revolved by the driving handle H to operate the electric driving device 70 in the

driving device 7, according to the operation of said electric driving device 70

the driving gear G3 is operated, subsequently the first, second and third

electric gears G.,Gs,G6 are operated in turn, thereby the floorcloth is

transferred from the rear spools 6,6',6" to the front spools 5,5' bit by bit,

then the body 1 is pushed by the handle 2 to clean transferring the floorcloth in

all directions. Therefore, by the device of the present invention the

scrubbing can be always carried out using the clean floorcloth and the moment the

new floorcloth is transferred the detergent can be sprayed, selectively, toward

any one of the transferred floorcloth, the front of the body 1 or bothsides

thereof operating the opening or shutting valve 86 by the handle 86a, to wet the

floorcloth or the floor, so that the floor can be scrubbed cleanly.

Furthermore, in the device in accordance with the present invention, since

the long floorcloth is wetted transferring by the spools, it is not necessary to

wash, set, separate and reset frequently the floorcloth, as well as since the

height and inclination of the handle 2 can be adjusted optionally, it can be

adjusted to correspond to the user's stature. In addition, if the handle 2 is assembled in curved form using the curved

connector 21, it is convenience to clean glass windows or vehicles, and when

necessary, the detergent storage container 3 is separated from the body 1 and

then if it is hung on a belt of a waist, when cleaning weight of the scrubbing

device can be reduced.

Furthermore, when washed or new floorcloth is wound on the rear spools

6,6',6" it can be rewound easily by inversive rotation of the handle 2, and by

the counter 9 amount transferred the floorcloth can be kown easily.

Claims

1. In a damp floorcloth scrubbing device comprising, a body (1) which a

pushing plate (4) made from elastic material is set by inserting, the first and

second spool mounting members (14),(15) for mounting front spools (5),(5') and

rear spools (6),(6'),(6") are established in the front and rear, respectively,

and inside thereof a driving device (7) for driving the scrubbing device and a

spray means (8) for spraying detergent are equipped ; a handle (2) protruded

slantingly toward the rear from the center of the upper of the body (1) ; a

detergent storage container (3) capable of hanging on the body (1) or a belt of a

waist, a manual damp floorcloth scrubbing device characterized in that driving

shaft (102) having a boss (102a) for inserting a drivng handle (H) is set to

revolve under said handle (2), said driving shaft (102) is connected with an

electric driving device (70) for driving said driving device (7) inside the

body (1), on one side of the upper surface of the body (D a counter dial (104)

and a pushing button (96b) are protruded to connect with a counter device (9)

inside the body (1).

A manual damp floorcloth scrubbing device in accordance with claim 1, wherein in said driving device (7) for driving the scrubbing device, a driving

gear (G3), the first, second and third electric gears (G.),(Gs),(Gβ) being driven

from the rear to the front are engagεn with each other in turn, between the first

sub-driving gear (Gi) being pivotted on the first spool shaft (71) and the second

sub-driving gear (G2) being pivotted on the second spool shaft (72), also inside

said driving device (7) an electric driving device (70) for rotating said driving

gear (G3) in regular or inversive directions is established.

3. A manual damp floorcloth scrubbing device in accordance with claim 1,

wherein said electric driving device (70) comprises, a gear (701) pivotted on the

outer surface of the free end of a driving gear shaft (S3) of said driving gear

(G3) extented toward the inside space of said driving device (7) ; a gear (703)

engaged with said gear (701) and equipped on a shaft (702) pivotted to rotate on

a shaft bearing (101) of the center of the body (1) ; a sub-driving pulley (704)

pivotted together on the same shaft (702) of said gear (703) ; a driving pulley

(705) pivotted on a driving shaft (102) which is positioned under the handle (2)

and is revolved according to the operation of the driving handle (H) ; and a belt

connecting said pulleys (704),(705) each other.

4. A manual damp floorcloth scrubbing device in accordance with claim 1, wherein said counter device (9) for counting transferred amount of the floorcloth

comprises one way center clutch (91) which is fixed to the outer surface of the

extended shaft (Ss) of the second electric driving gear (Gs) extended toward the

inside of the body (1) . a pair of arc wings Ola) whcih is pivotted to rovolve

by a pin (93) on both ends of said one way center clutch (91) and which is

supported counter clockwise elastically by a spring (91b) ; and an electric

driving ring (92), in which said ring (92) is pivotted on a supporting member

(95), in the inner surface thereof two inner projections (92b) are protruded in

opposite sites to restrict free rotation of both ends of said arc wings Ola),

rotating together with them counter clockwise, in suitable position of the outer

surface one outer projection (92b) is protruded, the outer projection (92a) of

said electric driving ring (92) is engaged with a flat gear (94) fixed to a

rotation shaft (Ss) as the other shaft parallel with said shaft Ss in said body

(l), said flat gear (94) is supported elastically by a twist return spring (109)

which one end thereof is fixed to the body (1), the other end thereof is fixed to

said flat gear (94), on the same rotation shaft (Ss) of said flat gear (94) a

ratchet wheel (R3) and a counter dial (104) are fixed in turn in which on the

outer surface of said dial (104) rotation numbers are expressed, a part of the

upper thereof is exposed on the outer surface of the body (1) and said ratchet

wheel (R3) is engaged with a click (96a) revolving in regular or inversive directions centering around a shaft (106) by means of pressing of a pushing

button (96b) and return power of a retrun spring (107).

5. A manual damp floorcloth scrubbing device in accordance with claim 1,

wherein said detergent storage container (3) is coupled with a concave (31)

formed on one side of the upper of the body (1) by means of a projection (11)

thereof, on any one side wall of said detergent storage container (3) a hanger

(32) is fixed to hang on the belt of a waist by disassembling from the body (1),

on one side wall of said container (3) one end of a hose winding device (34) is

established to wind or unwind, in optional length, a hose (33) connected with a

connecting pipe (81a) of a spray means (8).
