Abstract

Description

DEVICE FOR MANAGING ACCESS AND EQUIPMENT OF SEVERAL PREMISES OF THE SAME BUILDING

The present invention relates to a device for managing the access and equipment of several premises of the same building, and more particularly, of a building comprising several apartments, as is the case in collective buildings.

To date, there are a certain number of devices which fulfill various functions in the context of access to a building.

Thus, in particular, there are intercoms comprising a device placed at the entrance to the building, and a device arranged inside each room, for example each apartment.

Each intercom is physically connected by a 2.4 or 6 wire connection, telephone type, to the intercom located at the entrance of the building. In this type of device, an essential drawback lies in the fixed connections between the call keys associated with the intercom placed outside the building, and the various destination premises to which they end, which results in problems of maintenance and updating, with unsorted or unused keys or with handwritten inscriptions.

In addition, the intercom system does not offer any guarantee of security, since visitors can easily enter the premises as soon as the front door is open, when a visitor enters at the same time as a resident, or when a resident opens the door to a stranger after being asked to do so.

Finally, the principle of the intercom leaves a doubt about the presence or absence of a resident who does not answer the visitor's call.

A second type of device for managing access to a building is constituted by code devices which can be complementary to intercoms and provide the access control and opening control functions.

The disadvantages of this second type of device are of several natures.

There is a unique access code which is valid for all residents, which reduces collective and individual security. This code can be modified, but requires the intervention of the maintenance service, and the dissemination of the code to all residents.

This device forces a resident to use the code or a key to enter the building. As with a simple intercom, this device does not prevent the entry of any visitor if the door is opened, or if another person enters at the same time as a resident in the building.

Another device combines intercoms with a video camera at the entrance to the building and a control screen on the intercom in each room.

There are various electronic access control and keypad opening systems that integrate a telephone connection with security companies, remote monitoring, or the resident himself. In all cases, this type of material is distributed by professionals working in the context of rehabilitation operations or new projects.

These various systems offer a complementary surveillance function by visual control of the resident by camera, by identification of visitors and messages, by instant or a posteriori control, of accesses by an external service likely to intervene or act by delegation. .

The document FR-A-2 620 286 relates to a device comprising a central computer unit connected, on the one hand, to the console arranged outside the building and, on the other hand, to each terminal arranged in a room. Means are provided for placing the console in communication with a terminal situated in a room when, on the console keyboard, the identification or identification signs stored in the central unit have been provided and corresponding to information relating to the occupants of the room concerned However, these surveillance systems offer protection structurally limited to the physical prohibition of entry or to a posteriori control of entries. Therefore, they cannot guarantee the inviolability of access to a resident's premises for the reasons mentioned above: open door, simultaneous access with a resident or an authorized visitor, knowledge of the access code, etc. . A first object of the invention is to provide a device for managing access to a building, which provides a homogeneous and easily updatable display of the coordinates of each resident, with the possibility of information thereon, which allows easy access from the building to the resident, which allows occasional visitors to enter into contact with a resident's home, without knowing whether the resident is present or absent, and possibly to leave a message for the resident .

In general, the control of the elevator car (s) is completely free, these cars being equipped with a console comprising buttons for controlling access to the different floors, a microphone-speaker dialogue system, which can be used in the event of a breakdown, an emergency stop mechanism and possibly a device for memorizing several stops. Certain installations include devices making it possible to mechanically block, for example using a key, access to certain floors, in particular to the basement.

It is important to note that if there is access control inside the building, for example via an intercom, or a device for unlocking the door using a code, this control remains fairly random, insofar as a person who does not know the access code, for example, can enter the building following another person, or insofar as certain residents of the building open the front door of the building via the intercom without knowing the identity of the person at the entrance of the building. However, when an unauthorized person is inside a building, they can move freely from one floor to another using the elevator, which can pose security problems.

Another object of the invention is to provide a device for managing the operation of an elevator which allows it to be controlled, either in a traditional manner or selectively, by transforming a collective elevator into a real private elevator. Thanks to such a device, an occasional visitor who has entered the building without authorization cannot in any case access the premises of a resident, insofar as the latter does not wish to do so. The mailboxes generally placed in the entrance hall of a building, whether it is an apartment building or a building for professional use, are identified by plaques or labels bearing the residents' references. These mailboxes are accessible by means of a key each resident of which has possession. A first drawback results in the fact that, when changing residents, the identification support for the next resident, that is to say the plate or the label, is not always produced in the same way. than existing identification media. This results in an ines¬ thetic effect. In addition, to have access to his mailbox, the resident must necessarily have the key to his mailbox on him. Finally, the mailboxes are not classified in alphabetical order of the names of the residents, which poses a problem for the mail clerk who cannot classify in advance the mail to be delivered in a building in alphabetical order, because this order is not respected at the mailbox level. If this classification is carried out in alphabetical order, the scattering of mailboxes opposite this alphabetical order constitutes a waste of time.

Another object of the invention is to provide a device for managing the mailboxes of a building, which offers the advantages of a coherent whole with a homogeneous and quality aesthetic, updating the labels as soon as possible. mailboxes can be opened without the use of keys, both by the resident and by persons authorized by the resident.

To this end, the device according to the invention, of the type comprising: - one or more identical consoles arranged in different places of the building, in particular: outside at the main door thereof, near the mailboxes and in each elevator car, each console containing at least an alpha-numeric keyboard, a microphone and a loudspeaker. - terminals, arranged in the various premises and / or common parts of the building, providing communication functions between residents and / or visitors, and / or different types of PLC control modules,

- a computer unit, connected to each of the consoles comprising, on the one hand, means of communication between the consoles and the terminals when the identification or identification signs stored in the central unit, and corresponding to information relating to the occupants of the room in question and, on the other hand, control means for performing the functions provided at each console, is characterized in that each console has, moreover, a display information and a presence detector, in that the central unit includes means for storing and management informa¬ tions relating to the occupants of di ^{* r} local ents of means for managing the display of the console screen, and means for managing the detection of the presence of an individual in front of the console, actuated by the presence detector, so as to control the lighting of the screen, to carry out the transmission by the loudspeaker of a memorized message supplied by a synthetic voice, to indicate to the visitor the maneuver (s) to be carried out, and to provide the display screen with certain cont information into the central unit, to establish interactive communication between it and the console in question.

The device according to the invention allows either the management of general access to a building, the console being outside this building, or the management of the operation of an elevator, the console being in a cabin. elevator, or the management of mailboxes, the console then being close to mailboxes, or a combination of two or three management modes.

In practice, each outdoor console is turned off. When it detects the presence of an individual, it must perform a certain number of maneuvers to enter into communication with the desired room.

To this end, when the presence detector detects an individual in front of a console, it transmits the information to the central unit, which controls the lighting of the display screen, and the transmission by the loudspeaker. their of a memorized message and emitted by a synthetic way, indicating to the visitor the maneuver to be carried out to enter into communication with the desired room or to control the movement of the elevator or unlocking of a mailbox.

For example, the individual receives an instruction to press the key corresponding to the first letter of the name of the resident he wishes to contact. The names of all residents whose names begin with this letter are then displayed on the screen in the form of a label. In the case of persons authorized to trigger the ordering of a machine with the agreement of a resident, they have an access code which has been assigned to them by the resident concerned.

To this end, the central unit contains a code file corresponding to numerical or alpha-numeric values specific to each resident, as well as means for managing this file consisting in comparing a numerical or alpha-numeric value composed on the keyboard of one of the consoles or on one of the terminals connected to these consoles with the values contained in the file, with command from the automaton (s) slaved to the console, if the code entered on the keyboard corresponds to code contained in the file. Advantageously, the central unit is associated with a modem allowing a telematic link in order to allow, to each occupant or to authorized persons of a room, to be able, using a determined code, to modify in the files , the information concerning them. It is thus possible for each resident to modify, in the files, the information concerning him, and to modify the access codes intended to be used by the persons authorized to enter the building and / or to control the movement of the elevator, and / or to order the opening of a mailbox. It should be noted that it is possible, for the same room, to have several labels, insofar as several people with different names occupy this room.

Advantageously, the central unit comprises a file containing a configurable digitized message, which can be transmitted to the console, when the occupant of a room does not wish to communicate with a visitor, and the occupant of this room has activated a key provided for this purpose on his terminal.

In addition, and according to one possibility, each terminal arranged inside a room is equipped with a sound recorder, intended to record a message from a visitor located in front of a console and having identified the room where he wishes to be return, this recording following the message delivered from the central unit.

It should be noted that, in all cases, the visitor will not know whether the resident is present or not, because the voice messages provided to him result from a voice synthesis, from digitized messages.

According to another advantageous characteristic of the invention, each external console includes a touch screen with liquid crystal display, with the possibility of displaying several zones corresponding to a resident, the selection of the resident to whom the visitor being touched by the identification area of this resident.

In addition, each console is equipped with means for scrolling the information contained in the different zones, in order to make appear in two directions of scrolling the information contained in the zones not displayed, which precede and follow those displayed at the screen, this scrolling in either direction being obtained by effleure¬ ment on two icons placed, for example, at the level of the highest zone and at the level of the lowest zone.

This characteristic is advantageous insofar as the number of zones appearing simultaneously on the screen is limited, and the number of occupants of the building is greater than the number of zones.

In addition, this device includes an internal clock and calendar mechanism in relation to which each occupant can define, in the file, the dates and times during which the terminals and modules for controlling PLCs are switched on or off for any visitor who seeks to communicate with him.

According to another characteristic of the invention, this device includes a time-out mechanism ensuring that each external console switches off after it has not been used for a predetermined period.

In order to dissuade the canvassers and to avoid vandalism, the central unit commands, in the event of multiple selections of residents, a blocking of all the donations and triggers, if necessary, an audible signal at the console in question. According to a preferred embodiment of this device, the terminal of each room includes buttons and indicators fulfilling the following functions: selection of presence / absence function, indicator for indicating messages left by visitors, button for reading messages, button for opening the strike of the exterior door of the building, button for establishing dialogue with an individual outside the building, button for deleting messages recorded by visitors.

It then suffices, after the visitor has entered the building in an authorized manner, that he presses the button for identifying the floor of the resident to whom he is going.

In the case of mailbox management in a building, each mailbox is equipped with a terminal consisting of a touch-screen display, the central unit controlling the opening of the lock of a mailbox. letters when it establishes the concordance between the information contained in the file and that entered by the visitor on the console, and detects a contact on the touch screen of this mailbox. A person authorized by a resident, knowing the mailbox access code, will first select the resident's name on the display screen, then dial the code corresponding to the mailbox. this resident, and press the contact key located on the mailbox in question, during a given time interval, to automatically open the mailbox. It follows from this device that the mailboxes are not identified by plates or printed labels, but by a computer address.

It is thus possible to arrange the mailboxes either in the order of the floors, the mailbox of each resident being determined during installation, or in alphabetical order, this solution being advantageous when there are many of residents and many movements of residents as is the case in office buildings of business centers or certain apartment buildings. This latter mode of use, however, requires reassigning the mail remaining in the mailboxes each time the layout of the mailboxes is changed, that is to say each time the resident changes. This procedure is carried out in the presence of a postman who opens the boxes, redistributes the mail and unlocks the entire system using a specific code that he has or that has an authorized person in the building.

Mailboxes being approved have a system of keys allowing the post office attendant to open all of the building's mailboxes. FIG. 1 represents a console 2 comprising a presence detection radar 3, a camera 4, a badge or emitter detector of infrared, ultraviolet or microwave rays, and a speaker / microphone assembly 6.

In the embodiment represented in FIGS. 1 to 3, the console also comprises a backlit liquid crystal screen 7, comprising a part 8 displaying alphabetic and numeric keyboards with tactile keys, a part 9 allowing the display several zones in the form of labels, a visual function indicator, as well as two locations 12 corresponding to labels scrolling keys, to change the content of these, for example by scrolling the name of the different occupants of a building. It should be noted that during certain functions, the entire screen can be used for viewing messages, instead of the part corresponding to the labels, and / or that corresponding to the alpha-numeric keyboard of ordered.

Inside each room is a terminal 13 which, in the embodiment shown in the drawing, includes a display screen 14, a microphone speaker assembly 15, as well as six keys or indicators referenced A to F, having respectively the following functions: key A: actuated if the resident is present / absent, key B: message indication light, key C: reading of messages, key D: key for opening by command of the electric strike of the building, key E: key of dialogue with an individual located outside of the building in front of the console, key F: to erase recorded messages.

FIG. 3 represents the block diagram of the operation of a device according to the invention. On this block diagram are shown a management card 20 placed in the central control unit, a switch card 22 for the various premises belonging to the building, a card 23 corresponding to the terminal card of each apartment, a power supply device 24, a display module 25, an auto-switch 26.

The card 20 includes files 30, 31, 32 connected to blocks 33, 34 and 35 of the display module 25, and ensuring the management of the tactile zones, the display of the messages, and the background lighting of the screen.

Other files belonging to the card 20, referenced respectively 36, 37 and 38 provide the management of the interface for checking badges, updating files, and managing the radar and the photocell. electric.

Files can be updated either by a single person or by authorized persons, such as residents, who can use a telephone communication device such as a minitel 39, to access the central unit , via a modem 40 and the auto-switch 26.

Each terminal 22 located in an apartment includes control electronics 42, a digital sound recorder 43, an audio-video interface block 44, and a line interface 45. Each terminal is connected, via the card switch 22, to the management card of the central unit, at the level of a block 46 for managing the interphone and of a block 47 for managing the command 48 of the electric strike 49 of the exterior door of the building. The management card also contains a management block 50 for the welcome message, and a room selection block 51, both connected to the intercom management block 46. All the different blocks of the management card are under the dependence of a microcontroller 52.

The entire installation is connected to the power supply unit 24, which includes a transformer 53 supplying the installation with 12 or 24 volts, as well as a backup battery 54. This device brings a great improvement to the existing technique, by providing a device of simple design, and of character- modular building, ensuring perfect control of access control to a building, not creating a particular obstacle for the occupants of this building, allowing easy access to authorized persons, and allowing both a resident to accept or not to receive a visitor, and to know, if he is absent, who are the people who visited him, thanks to the messages which were left by these people.

Figure 4 shows a console identical to that shown in Figure 1, in which the same elements are designated by the same references. This console is arranged inside an elevator car and connected to the central control unit UC. This console further comprises an emergency call button 56 in the event of a breakdown, a button 57 for locking the door in the open position, and an emergency stop button 58. In its configuration shown in FIG. 4, the touch screen 7 has a number of boxes 62 corresponding to the different floors, as well as a box 63 corresponding to a request to display the list of residents. When a floor has restricted access, it includes the mention S, placed next to the number of the floor in question. When it is desired to select a floor, it suffices to press on the corresponding box 62, the location of the floor being effected by reversing the lighting of the box in question. If it is a free access floor, a simple press on the corresponding box 62 will allow the lift to be moved. A synthetic voice indicates to the visitor the approach to be continued. He must first of all scroll, using the keys 64, the names of the residents to display the name or the references of the one he is visiting, in a label area 65. It is then necessary to select the label 65, then dial the code specific to this resident on the numeric keypad 66. If the code is correct, the central unit UC controls the movement of the elevator car to the desired floor, and displays the number of this floor. On the contrary, if the code is wrong, the device delivers a message indicating the impossibility of access and the elevator car remains on the ground floor or returns to it, insofar as it is not there. . It should be noted that if a visitor has been authorized by the resident to enter the building, after unlocking the front door of the building by the resident himself, it is sufficient, even if access to the floor in question is regulated, to press the button on this floor to order the movement of the elevator car.

Figures 6 and 7 show alternative embodiments of the screens of Figures 4 and 5. In Figure 6, the touch screen has an alphabetic keyboard 67 and a numeric keyboard 66. The visitor begins by dialing the name of the resident with whom he goes to the first letters of his name to display his name on a label area 65. After having selected the name of the person he is visiting on the corresponding label area 65, he dials the code on the numeric keypad, like before.

In both cases, a stage repeater 68 is provided, for example above the door of the elevator car. This repeater is shaped so that, as shown in Figure 9, when the elevator stops on a floor, a label 69 is displayed which includes the name and possibly information of the resident to whom the visitor is going.

Figure 10 is a block diagram similar to that of Figure 3, in which the same elements are designated by the same references.

In this diagram is provided for a specific application for controlling an elevator, an elevator controller card 70, connected to the management card 20 of the central unit, which includes a block 72 for managing line interface. As is clear from the above, this device brings a great improvement to the existing technique by providing an elevator control device, of simple design, allowing use of the elevator without any control, or with a multitude control possibilities at fixed times, for example, by giving a collective lift the possibilities of an individual lift.

Figures 1 1 and 12 show a console 2, identical to that of Figure 1 and in which the same elements are designated by the same references.

Each mailbox 104 is equipped with a surface 109 with liquid crystal display, and with touch contact. In practice, a resident in possession of a badge, standing in front of the console 2, is detected by the detector 3 which transmits the information to the central unit. Residents simply select their mailbox by simply touching area 109 of it so that it unlocks automatically. After closing, the central unit commands the cancellation of the selection and the mailbox remains securely closed.

When a person who knows the code of a mailbox, for example a resident's familiar, presents himself, he must first select the resident's name or the first letters of his name on the keypad 8, which causes the display on the screen 7 of labels 1 10 bearing the names of the residents, for example classified in alphabetical order. Scroll buttons 1 12 bring the name of the resident chosen to the level of screen 7. The person selects the name of the resident by pressing on the identification label, then dials the code corresponding to the resident's mailbox on the keypad 8. The person must then activate the contact 109 of the corresponding mailbox. If the code is incorrect, or if the mailbox on which a contact is established is not the correct one, the selection is canceled and no mailbox opens.

Figure 13 is a block diagram similar to that of Figure 3, in which the same elements are designated by the same references.

In this diagram, there are provided mailbox cards 13 connected to the management card 20 of the central unit, which includes a block 1 14 for managing the line interface. Each card 1 13 contains a block of electronic control 1 15, connected to the management card 20 by a block 1 16 of line interface management. The electronic control unit 1 15 is connected, on the one hand, to a block 1 17 for controlling the strike of the lock of the mailbox and, on the other hand, to the display screen at touch contact 109 of this mailbox.

This device brings a great improvement to the existing technique by providing a device of simple design allowing the obtaining at the level of the mailboxes of a building of a coherent, aesthetic and homogeneous set, with updating in real time letterbox identification zones, while enabling them to be unlocked without having to use a key.

Claims

1. Access management system and equipment serving several rooms in the same building, of the type comprising:

- one or more identical consoles (2) arranged in different parts of the building, in particular: outside at the main door of the building, near the mailboxes and in each elevator car, each console containing at least an alpha-numeric keyboard, a microphone and a speaker (6).

- terminals (13, 70, 109), arranged in the various premises and / or common parts of the building, ensuring communication functions between residents and / or visitors, and / or different types of PLC control modules ,

- a computer unit, connected to each of the consoles (2) comprising, on the one hand, means of communication between the consoles and the terminals when the identification or identification signs stored in the central unit, and corresponding to information relating to the occupants of the room in question and, on the other hand, control means for performing the functions provided at each console, characterized in that each console (2) has, in addition, an information display screen (7) and a presence detector (3), in that the central unit contains means (30, 52) for memorizing and managing information relating to the occupants of the various premises, means (31) for managing the display of the screen (7) of the console, and means (20, 38) for managing the detection of the presence of an individual in front of the console, actuated by the presence detector (3), so as to control the lighting age of the screen (7), to carry out the emission by the loudspeaker (6) of a memorized message supplied by a synthetic voice, to indicate to the visitor the maneuver (s) to be carried out, and to provide to the display screen certain information contained in the central unit, to establish interactive communication between it and the console (2) considered.
