Abstract

A loose material conveyor is given a high degree of freedom in the horizontal and vertical plane of oscillation by the horizontal arrangement of rod spring components (1). The oscillating conveyor is automatically taken into the best possible working range by monitoring the phase relation of the mechanical and electrical oscillation circuit by means of a sensor (60). The speed can be steplessly controlled by the amplitude reference setting (42). Owing to its high conveying dynamics, the conveyor is ideal for the volumetric metering of loose material in the foodstuffs, plastics, building, chemical and pharmaceutical industries. Another application is in the preparation of SMD components for an automatic SMD system.
