Abstract

Le montage proposé consiste en trois cuves flottantes closes, reliées par un ensemble de leviers et de verrous, qui accomplissent un va-et-vient. Celui-ci est transmis par les leviers, qui oscillent autour d'un axe central commun, et se transforme, grâce à un engrenage, des couronnes et des pignons, d'une part, et des crémaillères d'autre part, en un mouvement oscillant alterné puis en mouvement giratoire. Grâce à des barres de traction réglables, à des leviers réglables ou à des leviers réglables du type à compensation utilisés conjointement avec des crémaillères, ce type de mouvement peut être amplifié ou atténué. Un autre moyen d'exploiter ce va-et-vient consiste utiliser des câbles de traction agissant sur des axes reliés à un système mécanique. Le mouvement rotatif des engrenages ou des pignons ou des couronnes assorties de cliquets, grâce à des arbres, pignons et couronnes avec ou sans cliquets, permet d'entraîner: 1) un volant d'inertie; 2) un embrayage; 3) une boîte de vitesses; 4) et enfin un rotor d'alternateur ou de dynamo. Les figures représentent plusieurs modèles possibles et le fonctionnement de leurs mécanismes.
