Abstract

L'invention a trait à de nouveaux dérivés d'acide heptanoïque et hepténoïque de cyclopentane 2-aliphatique ou arylaliphatique qui comprennent au moins un substituant azido. On décrit notamment des acides heptanoïques et hepténoïques de cyclopentane 2-aliphatiques ou arylaliphatiques et certains de leurs esters, substitués en position 3 et/ou 5 du cycle cyclopentane avec des radicaux choisis dans le groupe consistant en hydroxy, azido et leurs mélanges. Ces composés azido sont utiles comme hypotenseurs oculaires et comme intermédiaires servant à préparer d'autres composés utiles comme hypotenseurs oculaires.
