Abstract

L'invention porte sur des procédés d'enrichissement de cellules souches hématopoïétiques humaines par sélection des cellules exprimant la protéine c-kit (tyrosine-kinase). Une cellule souche humaine engendre une progéniture dans toutes les lignées hématopoïétiques définies et est capable de reconstituer entièrement un hôte immunodéprimé dans tous les types de globules sanguins, dont la cellule souche humaine pluripotente, avec un nombre limité de cellules. La protéine c-kit est exprimée par un certain nombre de cellules parentes hématopoïétiques précoces dont la cellule souche humaine. La sélection des cellules exprimant la protéine c-kit permet d'enrichir les cellules souches hématopoïétiques humaines.
