Abstract

Un dispositif d'extinction d'incendie comprend un ensemble de cylindres (5) monté sur un châssis (1), chaque cylindre étant doté de son propre amortisseur de choc individuel (16) et relié à un système (6) réglant automatiquement le débit auquel le composé d'extinction d'incendie est envoyé au c÷ur de l'incendie. Chaque cylindre (5) contient une charge explosive (9) ainsi qu'une quantité du composé (8) d'extinction d'incendie contenue à l'intérieur d'un enveloppe (7) fermée hermétiquement, composée d'un matériau rompant facilement sous l'effet de l'onde de choc produite par la charge explosive. Ladite charge explosive (9) et ledit composé (8) d'extinction d'incendie sont séparés l'un de l'autre ainsi que des parois de l'enveloppe périphérique (7) par des tampons (10, 12).
