Abstract

An electrical insulating oil is claimed with the following ratio of components in per cent by weight: alkyl(C1-C4)naphthalene 0.5-10.0, antioxidant 0.1-0.4, petroleum oil up to 100. The oil contains, as aromatic hydrocarbonic additive, alkylnaphthalene in which the alkyl group does not have double bonds C=C and the number of carbon atoms equals 1 to 4. The amount of the introduced aromatic hydrocarbonic additive allows to impart to the oil at the same time both higher gas-absorbing qualities and a higher antioxidizing stability.
