  Pallet for the transport of loads The invention relates to a pallet made of metal for the transport of loads.



  Pallets for the transport of loads are mainly made of wood. In addition to the fact that wood is a raw material that is far too valuable for this purpose and causes considerable problems in recycling, such pallets are subject to very high wear.



  Pallets have therefore already been made from sheet steel. These pallets have a longer lifespan than the wooden pallets; however, they have the disadvantage that they require a considerable volume for the return transport and therefore cause correspondingly high costs. In addition, the known pallets are only suitable for loads up to a certain size and up to a certain weight.



  The invention has for its object to provide a pallet for the transport of loads, which is suitable for loads of any size and weight and which can be stacked so that it requires very little space.



  The solution to the problem is that the pallet is formed by a metal sheet of an appropriate size, which is provided at least at its edges with at least two downward-facing conical lugs made of sheet metal that correspond in shape and size. Depending on the intended use of the pallet, the metal sheet can have different wall thicknesses. Furthermore, the outside dimensions of the pallet can be chosen as desired.



  The conical approaches7, which can be designed as a hollow pyramid, for example, allow the individual pallets to be placed one inside the other so that, depending on the weight and the size of the loads to be transported, any number of pallets can be arranged one above the other and next to one another, the conical approaches the position of the individual Fix the pallets exactly to each other and do not allow the individual pallets to be moved. The height of the conical lugs can be selected so that it corresponds to the standard height for forklift loading.



  The favorable stacking option of the pallet according to the invention is particularly evident when it is transported back.



  The height of a stack does not - as with the known pallets - correspond to the sum of the individual heights of the stacked pallets, but to the sum of the individual heights of the first pallet and the wall thicknesses of all other pallets. A very large number of the pallets according to the invention can therefore be stacked with the smallest space requirement.



  In an embodiment of the invention, the conical approaches are designed as a hollow cone. Hollow cones are very easy to manufacture and very stable.



  The conical approaches are produced in the simplest manner by pressing, deep-drawing or the like. The metal sheet forming the pallet.



  In a further embodiment of the invention, the conical lugs are provided with an opening on their underside. These openings can be formed, for example, by providing the metal sheet forming the pallet with small bores at the point in question before pressing, deep-drawing or the like.   In order to achieve a perfect connection of the metal strips with the metal sheet forming the pallet, projections are provided on the top of the metal strips, the spacing of which corresponds to the distance between the conical projections on the metal sheet forming the pallet, and which are dimensioned such that they fit into the engage openings provided on the underside of the conical lugs.



  The projections provided on the upper side of the sheet metal strips are also expediently produced by pressing, deep-drawing or the like of the sheet metal strip.



  A particularly firm fit of the projections provided on the upper side of the sheet metal strips in the openings of the conical projections on the metal sheet forming the pallet is achieved in that the external dimensions of the projections correspond to the internal dimensions of the openings in the conical projections. This creates a clamping effect so that the sheet metal strip can be removed from the pallet with little effort.



  The fastening of the sheet metal strip to the pallet can be further improved by the fact that the outside dimension of the projections is slightly larger than the inside dimension of the openings in the conical projections and that the projections are slightly curved outwards. This results in a kind of push button system.



  If, after prolonged use of the pallet according to the invention, wear and tear of the projections provided on the top of the metal strips in the openings of the conical projections on the metal sheet forming the pallet can no longer be achieved, it is possible to apply a thin layer of sawdust to the projections , a jute ribbon or the like

  In a further development of the invention, the metal sheet forming the pallet is provided with downward impressions, such as beads or the like. This significantly improves the torsional rigidity of the pallet according to the invention.   According to another feature of the invention, the impressions are star-shaped.



  The pallet according to the invention can be further improved in that two opposite edges of the pallet are provided with wedge-shaped attachments.



  As a result, the pallet is also suitable for the transport of round objects such as coils, drums, rollers, etc. Like., Suitable.



  The wedge-shaped attachments can be firmly or releasably connected to the metal sheet forming the pallet, a releasable connection being preferred.
