Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Mittel zur Stimulierung der Teilungsaktivität tierischer und menschlicher Zellen. Anwendungsgebiete sind die biologisch-medizinische Grundlagenforschung, die Biotechnologie und die pharmazeutische Industrie. Das erfindungsgemäße Mittel ist durch Nukleotidsequenzen mit komplementärer Sequenz (antisense) zu bestimmten Bereichen der mRNA von Tumorsuppressorgenen oder anderen negativ auf die Zellteilungsaktivität wirkenden Genen gekennzeichnet. Als Nukleotidsequenz werden bevorzugt synthetische Oligonukleotide einer Länge von mindestens 15 Nukleotiden, bevorzugt 18 - 21 Nukleotide, eingesetzt. Das Mittel wird dem Kulturmedium in einer Menge von 5-30 νM zugesetzt, wobei die Konzentration während der Kultivierung im wesentlichen konstant bleiben muß.
