Abstract

A process is disclosed for producing floor coverings, mats and webs from recycled rubber granulates. For that purpose mats composed of a binder and of the granulate are produced, a pigmented adhesive is applied thereon and the coated substrate is electrostatically flocked with dyed fibers. If necessary, the substrate is coated with a phosphorescent enamel. To improve the adhesive anchorage, the surface of the substrate is milled or hollowed out.

Process for the production of decorative and technically usable floor coverings, mats and sheets, as well as wall, floor and ceiling panels made from recycled granulate or regenerated material.
Beschreibungdescription
The invention relates exclusively to a method which enables waste rubber and plastic in a refined form to be returned to the economic and industrial cycle. As a result, contaminated sites are reduced in this area, and environmental damage caused by the rubber and plastic combustion is restricted or largely avoided. The use of recycling material enables the moderate and careful use of our resources.
The patent claim is preferably in the area of flooring, mats and sheets made from waste rubber, rubber granulate or regrind from e.g. Used tires, EPDM parts from the automotive or other industry, as well as in the area of wall, floor, or ceiling panels made from synthetic resin-bonded plastic granules, preferably from shredded plastic (e.g. from vehicles, household and packaging, etc.) in plate form or as a shaped body. The subsequent flocking or lamination gives us e.g. a high-quality carpet for all areas of life, e.g. Household, office, exhibition stand, cars, buses, trains etc.
All of the products described in the patent claim are in turn recyclable and do not have to be stored in landfills or incinerated.

Dadurch ist es möglich, ohne Verlußt des textilen Charak- ters, Teppichböden für faßt alle Bereiche herzustellen z.B. für Haushalt, Messestände, Büroräume, Ämter, öffentlichFor this purpose, the substrate is coated (as described under 3.1.), But the adhesive is colored white. The flock fibers used here are preferably made of polyamide or polyester (white or colorless). After the flocked web or mat has been dried or cleaned, any desired design, emblem or lettering is evaporated onto the surface at a temperature of 160 ° -220 ° C. using the thermal transfer printing process (sublimation). This makes it possible to produce carpets for almost all areas without losing the textile character, e.g. for household, exhibition stands, offices, offices, public
