Abstract

La présente invention se rapporte à un procédé à boucle fermée et à cellule d'électrodialyse (303) servant à extraire du SO2 de gaz (310). Un milieu de lavage aqueux (315) est utilisé pour enlever le SO2 du gaz. Un dispositif de fractionnement (303) à eau par électrodialyse à deux compartiments ainsi qu'un dispositif d'extraction (305) sont utilisés pour isoler le SO2 (323) et pour régénérer le milieu de lavage aqueux. L'utilisation de membranes sélectives à cations monovalents, d'un recyclage (327) du produit acide vers la boucle de base (319) du dispositif de fractionnement (301) à l'eau et d'un dispositif de prélavage (301), permet de traiter des concentrations élevées de solution de lavage sans entraîner d'encrassement important à l'intérieur des membranes. Les modes de réalisation du procédé décrit ci-dessus peuvent être utilisés seuls ou en combinaison.
