Abstract

La présente invention concerne un modulateur qui utilise le procédé de la modulation angulaire à phase stationnaire. Selon l'invention, un circuit (1) générateur d'un signal porteur (p) est connecté à un circuit de commande (4) en séquence de plusieurs états prévus pour engendrer le signal modulé (s(t)). En fonction de la valeur instantanée du signal modulant (e) à l'entrée (11) du modulatuer, détectée par un circuit (3) à chaque phase d'extremum (M1, M2) du signal porteur, le circuit de commande (4) programme le générateur (1) pour produire un signal modulé (s(t)) continu de valeur moyenne quasi nulle. Application au traitement du signal et aux transmissions, notamment de données numériques.
