Abstract
Dental treatments are performed with a pulsed laser system, a fibre-optic transmission system, a dental fibre-optic laser hand tool (11) with interchangeable therapy heads (11a) and a special filler material based on hydroxylapatite or tetracalcium phosphate with which is mixed a tetracycline derivative. The system is suitable for the non-mechanical, contactless treatment of carious tooth defects, to make tooth cavities, to make permanent and non-toxic tooth inlays and for the non-mechanical preparation of root channels and their filling.
